I still can't believe a full sequel to Spider-Man is already ready to go at launch.

 

That was an extremely exciting array of games. I don't think I like the box (but the various accessories have a nice aesthetic) but I also respect how weird it looks. Oh and the Demon's Souls remake is so exciting. As long as it completely re-does the awful UI and other basic QoL stuff, but keeps the wonderful atmosphere and mechanical weirdness, it will be really great.

 

Oh yeah Project Athia is that new IP the FFXV team was working on. Forgot about that.

Overall I loved that presentation a lot. So much I want to play, and I absolutely love the design

 

The fact that Insomniac has both a great looking Ratchet and Spider–Man game in the pipeline is so impressive. Both of the previous entries were pretty fantastic.

 

Final Fantasy VII Remake being a timed exclusive seemed to work out for Sony.

but anyway Ghostwire looks like a sort of Shin Megami Tensei meets BioShock, which is about the coolest recipe for a new IP I have heard in awhile.

I mean, Final Fantasy XV was supposed to be a psuedo-FF13 spin-off and got completely-ish rebooted. also:

 

I’d hold off on the full sequel part. I’m expecting it to just be a spin-off/expansion.

You’re telling me Insomniac made a PS5 full-fledged sequel in under 2 years when the first game took 4? There’s no way.

Plus a sequel would definitely delve into the Harry plot that was at the end of the credits.

Don’t be surprised if this game is like 10-15 hours and Spider-Man 2 is announced next year.
