Having finally played both, I can confidently say AC Odyssey obliterates RDR2 in terms of fun and actually making me want to play it.

I like RDR2 but I haven’t beat it. But tbf I haven’t beat an open world type game in a very long time.

I think the last open world games I played enough to beat were GTA4 and Skyrim

Here's how little I enjoy AC Odyssey in comparison to RDR2. Whenever y'all say just "Odyssey" without the AC prefix, I immediately think of Lost Odyssey. Sometimes, I even think of Super Mario Odyssey or Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey. AC Odyssey doesn't even enter my brain for a few seconds.
