Not surprised they're changing it. I loved it myself but a lot of people moaned about it.

 

AC is one of those series where the devs will never win.

There was very vocal people online before Origins and Odyssey saying that the series had got too repetitive. So they mixed it up. Now there's very vocal people online moaning that it's not AC anymore

 

It’s selling quite well now that they’ve made changes, so I doubt they’ll ever “go back to the old AC”.

the old AC is literally unplayable with those controls. I tried playing some AC3 (had it installed) the other day and deleted it immediately. Couldn’t take the tank controls and clunkiness. No crouching either is still phuxkin crazy and that crouching is a recent addition.

 

I think the AC devs have won though. Honestly, I'm a little surprised AC is still relevant. I haven't liked the series since Black Flag, but the fact that so many people still care about it speaks to Ubisoft's savvy. The brand is alive and well.

 

Odyssey is already maybe too big. And Ancient Greece was probably more densely populated than where were going now, no? I hope it's not a lot of dead space.

Also, in general, the last two AC games are incredible achievements. Origins grabbed me a little more right out of the gate and the combat is better (I like shields), but Odyssey has even more depth and the RPG systems are very well put together.

Now this game is good unlike you know what.

 

I bought the GOTY edition of Red Dead Redemption a couple of days ago. The case is labeled as a 360 and Xbox One case. Never seen that before but it's slick.

 

Is RDR2 not well regarded?

R&C is awesome. I wouldnt mind going back and replaying it

 

Yeah I have seen that label a couple of times in stores, that was a solid idea

 

They were also smart enough to put the disclaimer on the box that the game only downloads to the Xbox One, it doesn't install off the disc. Would have been a nightmare if it lacked that disclaimer. Lol.

It's not just this thread, I've seen a lot of hate for RDR2 on the internet lately lol

 

Even if he did I don't think he'd admit it

 

People would defend an abuser on here before they ever admitted they liked RDR2

 

If it had fast travel, and keeping care of yourself and horse was less of a nuisance, I probably would have enjoyed it.

 

RDR2 is brilliant.
