mates, all those things about rpg games and skyrim, yeah skyrim was good, but the problem for me wasn't the sword gameplay, it had a linear story line in the end, no alternate endings, anyone else had this problem?

If I preorder a physical copy of TLOU2 on Amazon and I have Prime will I get it the day it comes out? I've never done that before because I usually just go to a store on release day but obviously want to avoid that now

 

Usually but I wouldn’t risk physical with the virus delays if you want it on time.

 

I stopped pre-ordering on Amazon because of the amount of times I didn’t get something on the release date. Twice it happened — granted, on both occasions I complained that Friday night via their live chat support until they overnighted me a second copy that arrived on Saturday but still. Just wasn’t worth it anymore.

 

Not at all personally. The story was like an afterthought as I just went around looting and sneaking up on bandits and whatnot. Plus tons of side quests and like, the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild etc. Never really cared about the story.

 

It did have an alternate ending in as far you were allowed to pick a side in the civil war. But yeah, choice-heavy storytelling landing the ending remains a problem in games.

 

Was Bam in those games? I forgot. Probably not yet.

Some regions aren’t part of the main story, so even if you do all side quests in the main story regions, you won’t see all regions

Yesterday was the 18th anny of FF 11 online. It looks like you could still play the game online?! I had no idea. I don't know why people would.

no i mean what i feel to be difficulty gating. i put hours and hours into just doing side quests and i feel like it got me through like five main quests haha i am just having a much different experience than most others

 

I also play those two games that way, though if I get tired of an area I move on and maybe return back later. I’m pretty sure enemy levels scale (they do in Oddyssey) so you won’t have to go back to too easy missions.

Playing odyssey right now and I’m around level 36 and haven’t had to do much naval combat yet. Now I get like three major story missions focused on naval combat and I wanna delete this game from my HDD.

Whenever I see Rodney Mullen I think of his tape with Daewon, Almost Round 3 is the one me and my buddy used to watch endlessly. Fuckin amazing. Great music too.

 

yeah they don't scale in this, ive gone back to some level 15 side quests and stuff and it's def still balanced for level 15 etc
