Maybe it's a showcase for Elden Ring and an interview with GRRM.

Also: really interested to see what they mean by "post-launch support." Probably additional skaters? I can't imagine they'd put any levels from THPS 3 & 4 in there considering they'll probably save those for their own separate remake in a year or two if this is successful.

I would say "superman" is maaaaybe in the top 5. so there's my hot take.

 

I have it as a firm #2 but I respect the guts to say it's fringe top 5 haha

 

"Superman" is maybe the best song from THPS1 but between the first two games, I wouldn't put it above the songs by Millencolin, RATM, or Lagwagon.

 

Reiner is great, but like a lot of the whole next gen thing doesn't matter. They're consoles and the companies are going to release games you either like and want to buy or don't like and will pass on just like all consoles before them. I think it's pretty safe to say that this next generation will be one of the smallest jumps forward we'll see in the history of going from generation to generation.

The price point matters to a degree, but a lot of people are going to buy the consoles with the ecosystem they're already invested in. People complain they haven't shown the PS5, but the controller is way more important to me than the box it connects to because it's the thing that I'll constantly be interacting with.

I think it's just frustrating being on the press side of it and having nothing to talk about.

 

Superman is the best song and everyone else can get the fuck out.

I'm so relieved to hear that Vicarious Visions are handling the new Tony Hawk remake. Their DS games were incredible considering the hardware and had a lot of really cool features other developers might not even think of (custom bail and special sounds for one). They should have been the successors to Neversoft all along, not Robomodo.

Just the fact that Create-a-Skater and Create-a-Park are coming back in expanded form fills me with hope that this won't be like THPS5 or to a lesser extent, THPSHD which was just mediocre.
