I think RE8 is a pretty safe bet to come out by then. That release window has done pretty well for them the last couple years with the REmakes.

The last remake was true to the original except that the actual skating felt a little different, which killed the whole thing. I’m afraid that will happen again. Input lag is way more of a thing now for example, getting a 3D game to feel as tight as those first 6 games is probably way harder now.

Yeah I agree, which is why I'm really nervous about this. That said, VV is a great dev team and they managed to really nail the way the Crash games felt, so hopefully they can do the same here.

Basically, if any studio was going to attempt this and succeed, it's them, so I'm glad they're the ones handling it.
