Yeah. I still enjoy them well enough and they do impressive shit but I probably wouldn’t actually go see them if it weren’t for the old characters/legacy.

 

Don’t wanna be that guy also but my gf just randomly called Paul Walker a pedophile to my surprise and after a quick google... yeah he was dating two sixteen year olds when he was 33. So I’ve even less of an interest in watching those films now. Not sure why he got a pass on that one. Makes Vin naming his child after him a bit yucky imo.

I'm never surprised at celebrities getting a pass on being bad people anymore after XXXtentacruel. The unfortunate truth is, most people just don't give a shit. Or they pretend to give a shit when it's celebrities that they don't like, then suddenly ignore it when it's someone they do like. See a lot of Blink 182 fans on this site for an example of this.

 

Trying to go back and beat all the slayer gates in Doom Eternal and not being able to fast travel a level after I've beaten it and having to refind the slayer key is annoying.

 

I surprisingly found every slayer gate, and beat them all. Got that locked up super weapon tho the BFG is much more practical. I don’t think I ever failed any of the slayer gates either, but I hated a lot of the special encounters. I just straight ignored them for the rest of the game. Esp since they kept popping up when I was low on resources.

I found them all I just assumed I could come back and beat them at the end of the game easier once I was all powered up

 

Loved Doom but really can’t see myself ever getting into Eternal because like...I was just exhausted at the end of it. The gameplay doesn’t like different enough to warrant diving back into it.

The Rob Lowe story is a bizarre one. Apparently he had a threesome and one of the girls had shown him a fake ID saying she was 21. The weirdest part is that whatever state it was in, the age of consent was 16. This was back in the 80s so I'm sure the law has changed there.
