i love Garry potter

 

would love to see RE8. only one ive ever played is 7 and i thought it was amazing. Tales of Arise is the other thing that jumps out at me. Elden Ring will just bum me out because it will look so cool and ill watch longingly with the knowledge i prob won't have any fun playing it.

hilarious to me that Dead Island 2 is still in development. i played, beat, and enjoyed the first one but that was ages ago and it was just average then. i don't know who out there is clamoring for it but could see it selling well as a launch title.

 

Man I loved Bloodstained, even though I played the pre-patched Switch version

 

RE8 allegedly is first person again, with you playing same dude as RE7. This time in a big village with some weird shit going on.

How long has Dead Island 2 been in development?

 

A couple of years for the new version in the works. Before its current iteration, it was being made by Yager (and that version was totally scrapped)

 

I mean, that’s one small part of it, but the absolute main reason why there is no PoP is because AC came on the scene and as a brand immediately appealed way more to mainstream video game consumers than PoP did and does. So, given that Ubisoft is a business with limited resources like most other, they have to pick which games in a particular genre to spend money on, so they pick the one that is more marketable.This has only escalated in the HD era (especially PS4/Xbox One) because of skyrocketing development costs. If PoP were a huge draw they’d make it work, license rights or no. I know nerds (non-derogatory) miss PoP but this is how it is.

I played bloodstained pre-patch on switch and I think @oldjersey agrees with me that nerds over-exaggerated how "bad" it was

 

I’m playing on GamePass anyway I suck too much at those games to buy it

 

It already froze and crashed once in 20 minutes though lol

 

I couldn't imagine playing a side scrolling game not on a handheld since the Switch was a thing lol
