Switzerland, right in the heart of the Alps. I went to school an hour away in Liechtenstein, a little known Alpine country.

There’s still a segment of Dutch people that discriminate Germans and they always think Swiss means German. I even had my tires slashed ones. Of course really the Dutch are arguably more German than the Swiss but then again people that do stuff like that obviously aren’t very smart.

 

Yeah what dummies. I was told some Dutch aren’t big fans of the Germans.

 

In Germany I learned that they discriminate against people named Kevin - apparently it’s a racism thing bc it’s a popular Turkish immigrant name

 

I lived in the North for a long time and it’s still pretty common there among, say, rednecks. I now live in the East and I haven’t noticed it at all. Probably because the whole East is basically a border region and seemingly everyone even has Germans in the family.

 

No. It’s a joke that people with an immigrant background came up with. Kevin as a symbol for dumb white guys. I use it too when I am in Germany or interacting with Germans (I lived there too at some point and my fiancé is German) lol

 

I imagine the buffer states in the East are all big fans of Germany except for Poland(?) apparently

It’s also used by people to call people dumb though because it’s perceived as an “underclass name”, but not for immigrants. I’d send you links but it’s all German lol

 

finished the level 6 ending in the talos principle. what a great game. grinded through 30 hours in a week, I was addicted lol. ended up getting a couple of the stars in completely ridiculous ways that took hours but those were some of the funnest puzzles. excited to play the dlc.

only thing I wasn't huge on were the sigil puzzles, after doing 10ish of 'em I just started looking them up because they're not very rewarding to solve and it's pretty much the same problem solving process for each one, they just felt like a chore.

I meant the East of the Netherlands. The buffer states are pro EU at least, though some of them have some governments now that don’t take the rules very seriously to put it mildly lol

 

My girlfriend loves spoilers. She asks for them from me if I know them already all the time. She also reads a lot and will read the last page of a book before she starts it. While I DO think that's insane. There are people who like spoilers and see it as a way to enjoy something more.

She always says she just wants to see the arc that is created to get to the spoiler, she doesn't care of she knows the ending. Which I can't really speak to, I've never done it but I can see a scenario where I could enjoy that maybe.

 

Yeah some of the sigil puzzles are just ridiculous. Go out in the hub do this thing and point it at this thing you can't even see. Next do these other 4 things and it'll open
