its not MH in gameplay loop to be clear, not focused on farming monster drops (at least not yet) but there are plenty of big ass monsters and the fights are of a similar scale

 

Ehhhhhhh the battle system in XIII-2 is better but the story is even more nonsensical, and then Lightning Returns is kind of just this bizarre game that has a time limit and Lightning is all by herself but can change jobs on the fly in battle. Honestly you just need to play XIII.

 

Not sure how far I am in HL2 but I'm enjoying it so far.

Fuck those barnacles though

Nope, I just met a guy in the sewer area.

Yeah, I've had it for years but never played anything outside of Portal.

Most of the gunfights so far I just run like hell

 

The first couple levels of HL2 are so good

 

I think I’m only at chapter 5 right now, just after the boating chapter which was too long ugh

 

Just bought FFVII, another game to add to the backlog

 

I miss the driving in GTA4. Actually required skill. Great fun. So satisfying once you got to grips with it.

 

GTA4 driving is bleh, I don’t want it to be realistic damnit it’s a video game!

 

It just took getting used to. I put so much time into IV and the DLC that it was hard to adjust when V came out.

It is crazy but also crazy that GTA5 is still one of the best selling games of this gen

 

I’m fully expecting GTA 5 to launch again with the new consoles. I might be into it if they get online load times down. Never really bothered either GTA online due to the load times for multi and hassle of getting into games with friends.

 

Add a side scrolling mode

 

I've decided to finish KH3 for the ReMind DLC and I just refuse to grind for the ultima weapon.

I hate minigames, I already found the lucky emblems once and I'm not doing that again. Just going to kick in the organization's teeth with Oblivion and Oathkeeper.

 

GTA 4s story was really good

 

I never could enjoy GTA outside of doing all the cheat codes when I was 13 and wreaking havoc.

 

Loved the branching paths in IV. Also ripping a heli down one of the main streets, and bailing out was crazy.

Just finished this part and that was absolutely terrible. I'll be happy to never play that again.

Reminded me of Uncharted, which was the exact place I gave up and never went back.
