Is GTA5 online still popular? That game must honestly be the only of its kind to cross platform generations and also continue to remain profitable nearly a decade later.

Very few around here are lol. If I didn't actually play them I'd think I was making them up

It works out though cuz I have very little interest in most of the games mentioned around here.

Legit got bored and put GTA on to drive around and listen to music. Game is still so impressive despite being SEVEN years old. And the online is still mental popular. I miss playing online before all the ridiculous shit got added and people started flying around on hovercrafts with missile launchers.

Volition are making a new Saints Row. Hopefully it’s more tethered to reality.

I though Saints Row 3 was the right balance, personally. 4 was too outlandish (although I did have a lot of fun with it)

also kind of stopped playing GTA5 because some of the missions started to become really frustrating (which is pretty much my experience with all GTAs I’ve played except Chinatown Wars). I like the story a lot though and it’s pretty much the only thing keeping me from not dropping the game.

Maybe in the future when it's on sale. I think I bought RE2 for only $20 or $30.

Hmm I didn’t think it was frustrating and I definitely thought the ones before 4 were, maybe try a different approach

I've enjoyed Uncharted games because they are beautiful and have some amazing set-pieces. It feels like you are playing an action movie. But yeah, overall the gameplay and action are repetitive. It's not that fun of a cover/shooting game, not much tactics or skill involved.

That’s really what it comes down to. I think Uncharted is kind of the dividing line between two broadly defined groups of gamers.

GTA4 might be the only one I haven’t played. I heard that one has a good story too. And a friend told me that someone in GTA4 cameos in 5 the one Trevor brutally murders which was super unsettling to watch

Idk I’m currently in that mission where Trevor has to pilot a plane but it has to be low enough so military can’t detect it and I keep crashing into a billboard (or electrical wires) that I can’t see because it’s too dark. I’ve never had problems with flying before that mission. Maybe I just dislike flying in general and got burnt out.

Not trying to be negative obv, there’s more good than bad here. I don’t really like attacking games, but I try to be critical of gameplay/level designs so I hope that isn’t mistaken for anything else other than that.

That is a dumb mission. Try turning up the brightness lol

GTA4 has an amazing story, yeah. Better than 5. But a lot of frustrating mission design imo.

Also Trevor does kill a GTA4 character, but one from the DLCs so it’s cool lol

I couldn’t play GTA4 at all. The first time I got in a car I felt like I was driving on skis and had to turn the game off. The driving in that game was awful.

4 is my fave. Then 5. Then CW. My controversial GTA take is that I didn't love SA.
