I’ve said it many times before but a Dark Souls inspired game where each single swing of the blade is devastating - you either get killed or dismembered would be dope. Add stealth to it. Maybe Ghosts of Tsushima could be like that on a higher difficulty or something.

Fun trailer but like no gameplay innit. And I’ve not played an AC game since the original, as I hated 2. So not exactly piquing my interest sadly haha. Looks cool but yeah...I’ll reserve judgement til gameplay.

 

Lmao do Microsoft serious pay them not to mention PS4/5? Ridiculous...everyone knows it’ll be multi platform, just like every other AC game...

Sony did this with Destiny. Both have done it with CoD at some point. Co-marketing deals they call it. I have been wondering if it’s worth it. It must be somehow.

If it was designed for scratch for SX and PS5, game probably will be not good on last gen.

Seems like it could take place around the 870's, as that king in the trailer looks an awful lot like this statue of Alfred The Great



But who knows. There were a lot of cool moments in history during those nearly 300 years so it's going to be an interesting time period no matter what.

 

This euro gamer article makes it sound like naval combat is minimal. Mainly used to travel.

Sounds like there’s a big component of building your own village and whatnot. Sounds pretty cool. Probably used some ideas from Far Cry Primal as the base.
