If you remove syndicate and swap for AC2

I get the nostalgia but in 2020 Syndicate is still a great game and AC2 is comically outdated

 

Syndicate is the French one right? I wanna play that one too. I’m still playing Origins a couple times a week atm.

AC2 still has the best overall narrative of the series. Even the best later games like Syndicate are nowhere near as tight narratively.

@Your Milkshake The French one is Unity, the first current gen game, which most don’t like but I liked quite a lot. In terms of architecture etc. it was amazing at least no matter what one thinks of the gameplay.

 

Syndicate is still the best single-city game, has two of the best protagonists, and has maybe the most fun exploration mechanics of the series. Hence why I put it at #2

 

You can’t crouch in it though right?

 

It is the best city-based AC game and, unless you happen to be interest in Unity for its setting, is probably the only city game someone looking to get into the series should bother to play at this point. It's still a little weird to go back to after the two new games though because of the combat.

I never got the Syndicate love, it was ok. Maybe I just didn't love it because one protagonist is wearing a top hat.

You know what's so funny, I was just going to say this morning it would be cool if they called it "Valhalla" instead of "Ragnarok" like the rumors had said. So weird that I randomly thought that.

 

I liked Ragnarok but I’m very much down for Valhalla

Kinda hope they did lmao. It seems like we’ve known a ton about this game for at least a year.

Excited to finally see it.
