3 Xenoblade games later and I'll reconsider

 

did you ever play xenogears on ps1?

 

I only count the -blade games lol

People are still bitching "but they were just on PS Plus"

Man, do a nice thing and get yelled at.

 

I played a good amount of it but never finished. The combat system is fun and the characters were likable enough, but the second disc keeps the game from being truly amazing. Also didn't really care for the Mecha portions. One day I'll finish it.

Also I'm playing Dragon Quest 3 rn for the first time and I'm enjoying it, despite it being pretty grindy.

 

Yeah idk, I've said this before but I love how Star Wars-y the plot was. I'm a sucker for that kind of "small band of rebels taking on an evil empire" kind of plot. And the characters were so strong for me, especially Ashe, Basch, and Balthier.

And on top of all that, I loved the world design, the combat system, the license board, the monster hunts, pretty much everything about it. I was completely sucked in by that game. It truly is my #2 in the series after VI. And that's saying a lot because I love Final Fantasy a ton. It's maybe my #2 or #3 favorite video game franchise. FFXII is also probably my #1 PS2 game of all time

 

The fucking coolest thing ever.

Thousand year door is at the very least in my top 20

 

my list is 4 RPGs and a Zelda game, like a true GAM3R

 

Mine was the same since the GCN more or less but the Switch did a lot of damage and now I’m not sure I can make one

I still want a sequel or a reboot. The story of what happened to the studio sucks.

They got bought out by Blizzard, got sent to Blizzard North to work on StarCraft Ghost and then got dissolved after the project got cancelled. From what I remember.

 

I have a BD copy of it with the deluxe edition I got, I think I enjoyed that more than actually playing the game
