Apparently the new FF7R trailer released today has spoilers in it

 

Yeah they let it slip out that they’ve banned your gamertag from accessing the day one patch, so effectively Square-Enix banned you.

 

I think quarantine has everyone on edge. We are not taking the hot takes/game jabs in stride like we used to.

 

Sony probably doesn’t want to piss of brick and mortar retailers (for the future), or they think that too many of their fans don’t buy digital no matter the circumstances for it to be worth it

 

Amazon told me I won't be getting FF7 remake on time next week. I want to keep my deluxe preorder i've had for like damn near a year, but the extra wait might kill me.

 

Wasn't someone on here JUST explaining that they prefer physical so they can trade it in later or re-sell it? Not to mention phsyical/digital sales are roughly 50/50 on playstation. Of course they want to wait til physical release is ready.

There's multiple reasons why they'd want to wait until they can release physical copies. I assume most people who don't get it always buy digital tbh

 

do you think most physical copies sales are by mail or by over the counter at GameStop etc

 

somehow the last physical game I had (god of war) and wanted to trade in went to being worthless on the used market like two months after it came out

 

mindless games are my shit

 

I might bust out my PlayStation classic just to play final fantasy 7

 

I feel like less than a year after it came out it was already on sale for $20. Everyone has that game.

My guess would be big box stores. But even if it’s by mail, it appears that they’re having problems with production and distribution, so Amazon etc. also won’t get (enough) copies.
