The delay makes sense from a financial perspective. Not everyone is privileged with wicked internet and they want all revenue streams at once I guess. I can’t see them taking that big of a hit with a later physical release but it’d still be a hit given what they probably project. It sucks hard. I’m gutted. But I did anticipate AAA delays and ‘just release it digitally’ is a bit of a ‘head in the clouds’ kind of perspective on it in my opinion. There’s probably a huge amount of physical preorders with their special editions too. It’d be kinda shitty to make folk wait indefinitely while others just download it. It’d mean them having to cancel or buy it again digitally if the wait ends up being months longer.

 

I personally couldn’t care less if TLOU2 ever comes out. Should’ve never been made in the first place.

The first game ended perfectly, no reason to continue that story. Should’ve set it somewhere else in the world with new characters and a new story if they had to do a sequel.

Or, better yet, Naughty Dog should’ve done a new Jak & Daxter instead.

Same I started mine at 11:05 and put it in rest mode. I wonder how long it will take it was downloading between 10 and 15 mb a seconded before I turned it off and into rest mode

Nice I just turned mine back on and I’m around the same.

I hope it drops early too like Monday or Tuesday. I get why they moved up the preload date but to make us wait a whole week instead of 48 hours is cruel

 

I know the PS4 servers are getting bombarded with traffic so it’s nice they allowed us to DL early. Still have a little hope they might drop it early since a ton of people are getting their physical copies early and it’ll eventually become impossible to avoid stuff about the game.

 

Yeah it’s nice and it’s only gonna take like 2 hours to download even with the slow down of speeds which I’m fine with. If they didn’t slow it down mine would be done already.

it would be nice if they dropped it early cuz if that fact but I doubt it. We can hope and wish so we will see

 

Grabbed Death Stranding on sale, it’s completely bonkers so far and I adore it
