It's so good. I'm kicking myself for not finishing it years ago.

I’m not a psychopath. It was stated you couldn’t shoot them so I only did it to see if you could or not. I wonder if it was just a Germany thing or what. Still fucked up and I don’t think no matter what country you live in you shouldn’t be able to shoot them at all. Terrorism is fucked up and never ok. I would never do it again if I ever replay the game start to finish on a harder level

 

Yeah Condemned is like up there as one of the greatest horrors for me. Fucking brutal game. PT I adored but yeah...only so many times you can play the demo and get sad about how it’s not a full game.

I’m hugely intrigued by Inside and I LOVE Limbo. I’ll get it eventually.

Undertale? Or Undertake? I have Undertale and played it briefly with my gf on PS4. It was funny but we kinda lost interest pretty quick.

We JUST bought Celeste though and we love it so so so fucking much. She’s never played a game like that and gets so nervous it’s hilarious. We’re like taking it in turns, I’m helping her and whenever she can’t do things I do it for her. It’s fucking great fun. Fantastic recommendation thank you so much.

Finally feeling like the Switch purchase is a bit more validated now. I have zero interest in Mario or Zelda or JRPGs so I was feeling kinda bummed about the majority of games not appealing to me. But Celeste has made me very happy and I’ll probably get Inside after.

 

If you like Celeste you like 2D platformers and if you like those you should absolutely play 2D Mario

 

I played 2D Mario as a kid on gameboy colour and found it infuriating haha. Celeste varies stuff up with the move set and environments and that. Mario just bored and annoyed me. Is 2D Mario like a new game or do you just mean original Mario?

 

He has a lot more moves now lol New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe is a good start, or Mario Maker if you’re up for some wild shit

 

I think Mario Maker might make me hurl the switch through the window

 

Honestly I’m tempted to get a Souls game considering I adored Bloodborne but I’m kinda sad cos I know it wouldn’t be as gothic and gory as Bloodborne.

 

Get dark souls 3, it's the most similar to Bloodborne

I love it almost as much as I love Bloodborne

 

Or get DS1 on Switch, that’s a cool thing to have

Surge 2 is on gamepass. I'm having quite a good time with it, the level design is very intricate. I just got to the third "level" so I am not sure how it progresses but it definitely scratches that souls itch without being excessively frustrating.
also some light Metroid elements which I enjoy.

 

Probs vibe with this the most then! Idk I just want a ‘serious’ game that’s not a side-scroller or Mario or a JRPG indie thing I guess. Which is annoyingly what the main appeal of Switch is to most I figure

Kinda hard to recommend Switch games to someone who wouldn't like the best game on Switch

I don't know about that. I don't think that's what I would consider the main appeal of the switch. I think it's a portable port machine and that's a big draw for people. Of course you have the mainstream public who buy the Mario and Pokemon games, but ports and Indies are a huge portion of the draw.
