Steep is pretty fun. Didn’t have much lasting power and I have little desire to return to it though

 

I'm almost done with Persona 4 Golden holy hell this is a crazy game hahaha

 

I wanna download Steep but that means deleting some games. FML.

 

Spyro Remastered is the perfect mix of nostalgia and gameplay.

 

acquired Octopath, DQXI, Spyro and Hollow Knight over the holidays. those will last me through the spring for sure

Steep is a great game. It has bad menus and monetization but the core is both sufficient and great.

 

Far Cry 5 is on sale for like $20 at Best Buy this week in case anyone missed every other sale for it this season.

 

I obliterated a Binding of Issac run last night with Henry and @Henry was not impressed .

 

Only need to finish up boss rush and I'm done with The Forgotten. Interesting character. A little tough to get a hang of, but once you've got it, its not bad.

 

they put life is strange in game pass last week and today they did the before the storm stuff so that’s cool. I might check that out.

the way buying new weapons and upgrading and customizing works on far cry 4 is really addicting, the games economy is really well done and makes me want to go out and find shit to do to make some money and spend it on actual useful stuff. I also like how you have to hunt to upgrade weapon holsters and bag space and stuff like that

 

It is quite wonderful.

 

I wanted to love Steep, but was so disappointed. Was boring and as stated above, the menu is terrible.

 

Like I said I like it but oh my God how terrible is that menu/UI? How could this happen? Wtf

 

Trying to strategically plan a stealth attack on an outpost in far cry 4 and a bengal tiger attack’s me and my shotgun alerts the entire outpost and my entire plan falls apart. Amazing game

 

For the first like 40% of it I was like "this game is pretty good I think" and the second half completely kicked my ass with how wonderful it was

 

Game Pass is making me realize just how much Nintendo loves making their fans work to justify their practices

I’m downloading Ori, Shantae and Master Chief collection for $1 a month and already have Doom and both Banjo Kazooie games, Doom, Rime and Braid

and there’s a ton more I still want to play...Nintendo gave me Balloon Fight

 

I mean, game pass is A LOT more expensive and isn’t an online service, which means if you want to play those games online you’ll also need Xbox Live which is also A LOT more expensive than Nintendo Online. Apples and oranges.

 

I get that, I pay for online either way and would happily pay $70 for Nintendo online if for $1 extra I could play Sunshine and shit but yes I realize the difference
