I have to work 60 hours a week plus college so video games can wait besides animal crossing tbh

I'm looking forward to picking Outwer Worlds on my Switch. Girlfriend is playing Witcher 3 on my PS just now.

Condemned was such a special treat for someone like me because I never really connected with a horror game before then and unfortunately, I haven't really gotten the same experience since except for maybe P.T. I was disappointed by Condemned 2, but I would love a complete reboot in that universe with elements from the first game. AI: The Somnium Files has some of the detective work, but definitely in a more anime style.

Inside is good, it's different enough because the puzzles are a lot more bizarre/sci-fi.

Yeah, Amnesia and Outlast are fun, but I don't think they are Earth shattering or anything. They're just good. I definitely think Amnesia feels and plays like a PC game. Outlast they did a good job of making it feel good on all platforms.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is really one of a kind. You play this guy, Stranger, and he has two guns, but refuses to use bullets basically so he uses the creatures from the environment to take down bounties and you get different rewards based on whether they or dead or alive. It's a cool Western spin set in the Oddworld universe.

I think Undertake is VERY hard to get into especially if you're branching out into a genre/game that's new to you. It's such a slow burn in the beginning. I would not recommend that to pick up and play haha.

I'm going to think of some more games because I only did a quick glance, but I know there are more I'm forgetting.

there's honestly so many and I know not all of these are exclusive but they are best on Switch imo

Thanks for the recs! I'm heading to the store tonight and Im debating between Fire Emblem, XC2 and Astral Chain.

 

Sophie's fucking choice. I think you'll probably get the most bang out of your buck with XC2, especially if you find a good deal on it. Probably the three best games on Switch that aren't Zelda.

I just learned today that there's bonus levels on Serial Cleaner! I have 2 levels left to beat, and then I'll start over and start collecting all this bonus shit. This is my new favorite game, guys! haha

 

everything about XC2 is so good to me, except the combat, which i disliked enough to bounce off of it. i really just dont like active time battleish combat where everything has a cooldown. has turned me off everywhere ive encountered it.

 

Nope... To get around this, my friends and I started a Discord channel so we can talk shit while we're playing Mario Kart.

 

welp, I played until 2am with my roommate and he convinced his two buddies to try it out so we had a full squad. we had some insanely good games where we were all on the same page and just wiped the floor with other team and then there were times we couldn't get out of our spawn lmao.

ended up ditching Miko and actually playing a ZeroCool most of the night, they are a necessity.

 

His wall is fucking powerful. Best healer by far.
