Finished uncharted 4. Amazing experience

 

I wish I could relive it all over again.

co-worker got me as his secret Santa person so he got me a $25 gift card to GameStop. I plan on using that to buy Microsoft points to get Witcher 3 and Cuphead lol.

 

Gonna try to finally play Uncharted 4 by its three year anniversary. Hopefully I finish before the next one releases lol.

 

Its so good and I’m so mad it took me until now to play any uncharted game, I’ve been meaning to for years and years. It’s gorgeous, the levels are well designed and challenging at times but not to a ridiculous degree, I definitely got stuck and had no idea what to do a few times but the hint system is nice. The shooting is thoroughly decent, typical third person shooter stuff. I kind of like how you sort of pick up new guns on the fly and don’t have to worry about any sort of weapon collection and management, and sometimes you have to be smart about ammo usage in a massive shootout. Some of the funnest moments were when I ran out of ammo in giant firefights and had to finesse my way to corpses and grab more or pull off melee kills to get a new weapon. But the most satisfying part of the game is the platforming, it feels so smooth and from what I could tell it seemed like a few levels had different paths you could take. Oh and the driving segments were fun. All I can say about the story is I enjoyed it but not having played any other uncharted game I’m sure I didn’t get the full experience, which is why I’m excited to go back and play them all

 

My one complaint is the pacing was a litttttle off in the last third, you spend a good chunk of the last chapters in the same damn jungle, but up until then there’s plenty of variation in the set pieces

 

I still haven't played it. I love the franchise, but by the time the 4th one came out I was pretty burnt out and there was so much great new stuff out to play.

 

I think you'll be ok, you have some time.

 

Probably 3-4 years out. Idk I’ve had the game for 2.5 years now and haven’t gotten anywhere. Not promising progress lol.

 

Finished QUBE 2, which was fantastic. Difficult but rewarding puzzles at times but overall pretty straightforward.

Started Super Lucky's Tale and it's kinda frustrating with the controls. Think I'll still play it here and there but don't necessarily want to make it my main game ATM.


Think I'll start either Tacoma, TT Batman S2, or >Observer_
