Yeah I mean I’m not judging the quality of the game, I just thought the whole idea was weirdly dated for a new first party IP lol

Also to me it kinda seemed like an attempt at making a more commercial State of Decay haha

 

I felt that way until it opened up more towards the end of Chapter 3. You get your vehicles/guns and whatnot and the story really expands.

Ah I thought I missed The Outer Worlds speedrun but I think its just starting!

 

So I finished MediEvil and was well pleased, then I did the extra lost souls stuff and turns out you unlock the original PS1 game with OG sound effects and score! So happy omgggg

 

Goddamn the original is so much more tense and unnerving lol. Love what they’ve done with the remake, genuinely brill. It definitely needed overhauling with the controls and that. But the soundtrack and SFX from the OG were what I always remember and it’s a shame certain bits of that are missing. Super happy with the package overall. Can’t wait to show my dad it as he’s the one who bought me the game in the first place as a kid

 

finally watching a run and it’s the doom speed run which seems fun.
