Remember when people moaned that the assassin's creed games were all to similar to each other, then they made loads of changes with Origins and then people moaned that it wasn't AC any more

tbf ass creed was a dog shit series with too many entries

 

AC Unity, flaws and all, might be the most underrated game of all time. Mass Effect Andromeda is also a candidate. People were overreacting so hard. No Man’s Sky too.

 

Im excited to start Origins

 

Can’t decide it the Dishonored games are overlooked. It feels like they are.

AC Syndicate would’ve been better had the main protagonist been the sister and the bellend brother was a side character

 

I wish Mad Max had been better.

 

I preferred Odyssey more over Origins, both are great though.

I feel this. Game looks and plays great, story isn’t too bad, but it just felt so hollow and empty.

Imagine how much RPG nerds would love Origins and Odyssey if they didn't have AC in their names

 

Right and if Syndicate didn’t have AC in the name and was maybe a Sony exclusive people would never ever shut the fuck up about it again

 

I pretty much only played as Evie. Such a good character.

As far as overrated games go, I gotta say RE7 was overrated. The first act is probably one of the best horror game segments ever, it constantly fills you with dread and you really feel like you’re fighting for your life against Jack constantly hunting you down and the Molded also giving you shit. After that though, the game falls flat and it stops being as compelling, you don’t have to worry about this invincible boogeyman coming for you anymore and you can just fight your way through shit. Also the mother and son characters were terrible, the faceless protagonist wasn’t any better, and the lack of exposition of the relationship between you and the GF was questionable. It was a solid comeback for the franchise after 5&6 but RE didn’t truly return to greatness until REmake 2 came out this year.

 

Imagine the critical acclaim that Sleeping Dogs would have received if it had the Rockstar name attached to it

 

the grind to 100% that game made me actually miserable
