Suggest some underrated and/or overlooked games, maybe someone will mention one I forgot

tbh this is just spoilers for my list

Daemon X Machina

 

I guess but I do try to think of titles within the context of the platform. So, they’d have to be underrated 3DS games compared to 3DS games that do receive attention, like say Fantasy Life compared to A Link Between Worlds.

 

Rune Factory 4 is a good one

 

I just remember when monster hunter world came out, and loads of people thought it MH was a new IP lol. 3DS games got overlooked by a lot of people

 

Fantasy Life is so brutally underrated. That game is an incredible achievement. I sometimes can barely believe it’s real. It’s so above and beyond anything similar.

 

Epic Mickey

 

I think in 2019 Epic Mickey might be overrated

It was a cool platformer and was underrated because it was a licensed game for Wii, but since people have come around too far imo to where they now act like its Mario or something lol

 

Is it weird that I found my top 3 really easy, but I'm finding the rest of my top 10 a lot harder?
Like there's 20 games I want to put in places 4-10 lol

Yes, but I don’t mean it that way. This is what I mean:

Regarding what you’re saying, I’m more or less judging games based on if I think they are underrated at this moment in time. So I might also include games where the narrative switched from positive to negative over time, like Dragon Age Inquisition, which I think is way underrated now.

 

RDR2 is underrated on this board lol

Familiarity also leads to games being underrated, like say Gears 4 or Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

 

The last 3 assassin's creed games are all underrated because people have up on the series

 

AC Syndicate is so much better than Spiderman and Sunset Overdrive and I really enjoyed both of those
