Speaking of games influenced by Dark Souls

I'm liking Ashen so far

 

Dark Souls gets brought up over Demon’s Souls because it’s the one that caught on and was actually influential, not Demon’s Souls.

 

It’s because dark souls introduced its trademark level design that elevated the FROM formula from Very Good to Incredible.

 

Hollow Knight is moving up to an all time favorite game for me

Sequel needs to come out right meow.

 

Is there any speculation on a release date for it?

 

Not that I've seen. Their lastest blog post about it has some cool stuff like music and new enemies.

I just got to the watcher knights again but I feel like I'm a ton more OP than my first play through
