I am fully aware that this question is probably a very stupid one, but there’s no reason why your digital PS4 library shouldn’t immediately transfer over to the PS5, right?

Throughout this gen I have pretty much 100% solely played things physically, trading each game in towards my next purchase. My plan was to pick up a bunch of digital titles through the current holiday sale, with the idea of being able to revisit them on next gen hardware.

I guess even if they remaster/port over a bunch of them as official PS5 titles, it wouldn’t get in the way of being able to play the PS4 versions of the games downloaded to your library from the gen prior.
