It doesnt matter how I feel about it I think the numbers are that more people were disappointed by Destiny than No Mans Sky

 

To be fair, No Mans Sky was defo the bigger lie

Halo MCC was a massive disappointment. Still kind of is in certain areas.

 

Matchmaking still sucks in MCC lol

 

They still haven't fixed Halo: CE

 

Seems a little late now

Picking a top five games of the past decade would be tough as some of my favorite games of all time have released since 2010. One game that probably wont make most peoples list that is still one of my favorite games of the past decade is The Witness.

 

It's just annoying they're allowing the crappy PC version be remembered instead of the original classic.

No Man's Sky actually had skeptics though. Destiny really didn't because gamers were idiotic enough to think Bungie could do no wrong.

 

It just lacked compared to 4 and 1, which were much more enjoyable games imo.

 

Battlefield 4 was pretty disappointing at launch though. It's been a while so most people have forgotten how trash it was.

 

battlefield V is one of the best games I’ve ever played.
Wish it had more maps

 

Battlefield 3 is actually one of my most personally disappointing games coming off of 2 and BC2, it failed to be better than either of those games, and had clusterfuck maps. It was not a fun game imo.

I forgot that was this decade.

 

Ah, I thought we were talking about just this generation, but if it's this decade than Battlefield 3 absolutely deserves to be on that list. Because unlike Battlefield 4, it never really got better.

If people got let down on NMS, that’s on them for buying the hype. No game was gonna live up to that.

 

i was super excited about No Man's Sky and that's what almost made me buy an Xbox One / PS4 (can't remember what made finally get an Xbox One funny enough...) and then i read some reviews and held off. forgot about the game until it was mentioned. i hear it's much better now? i may pick that up to enjoy on vacation next week...

 

I liked it but I know FFXV was a huge disappointment for people

I've put about a hundred hours into No Man's Sky since the release of the NEXT update. It's pretty good. I'm not as taken with it as I am with a game like Elite: Dangerous, but that's just preference. However, if you hate base building, I'd probably say to avoid NMS. Because vehicles are gated behind a ton of base building missions. Unless they changed it in the last update, but I doubt it. It's a travesty.
