TWEWY switch version is one of my biggest disappointments. Game was much better suited to the DS

 

Biggest disappointment for me was ME:A. Like I was super excited for that game since that series is one of my favorites and bam, I got a broken game that killed the franchise.

I think Vice City was the only one I actually finished. GTA V is a fun experience imo and worth a playthrough. Just stay out of GTA Online and you’re gold.

 

Destiny, by far, is not the most disappointing game of the decade. That's a laughable statement. There are dozens more that are better qualified for that position. Here's a few: (Disclaimer - these are ones I can see the best arguments for and doesn't necessarily mean I would choose them)

Fallout 76
Anthem
Mass Effect 3
Crackdown 3
DMC V
Aliens: Colonial Marines
Duke Nukem Forever
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Resident Evil 6

 

I disagree about No Man’s Sky. The launch was a total mess but Hello Games have worked hard to make up for that and now the game is a much better experience.

 

lol Anthem was a dissapointment because people thought it was going to be what people thought Destiny 1 was gonna be before it came out

 

No Mans Sky was a proper debacle

 

Also, Mass Effect 3 up until the ending was fantastic and I will die on that hill. I still haven’t gotten over Mordin

 

I didnt even think Crackdown 3 was out yet

Destiny is an obvious choice

 

Yeah, Destiny was probably the biggest “That’s it?!” I’ve ever had with a game. The fact that Bungie had the gall to “fix” the game with a $40 expansion was such bullshit. Plus, and Destiny 2 falls into this too, it’s wild that they would make these detailed environments and they would be empty except for enemies and players.

 

destinys tiny little citadel hub thing was hilarious

from the first trailer I was expecting a large world with cities and stuff

 

You guys make me glad I never cared about Destiny

 

I loved, thought it was a lot better than 3

 

It would’ve been better if Garrius was in it *crosses arms*

 

No Man's Sky launch was disappointing but since then they've improved a LOT.

Destiny would definitely be my vote.

 

Mass Effect 2026 will be LIT

You keep spelling No Man's Sky wrong. It legitimately sparked lawsuits for false advertising, a plethora of refunds, death threats up the wazoo, and nearly destroyed the company.

 

They also improved Destiny so I don't understand this.

 

I get it and I was laughing the whole time

its audience was significantly smaller from the get go tho.... less people were disappointed because less people cared and it was a ps4 exclusive at the time

 

Unlike most people I saw right through No Mans Sky, and I bought it knowing exactly what I was getting and liked it a lot.

the same goes for most games on your list, they never looked good enough to me to give a shit about.

 

I mean, your bias and my bias are clearly at odds. The lack of a story/inclusion of segmented areas of Destiny was no way more disappointing than a game like No Man's Sky that didn't even include promised modes and features like multiplayer at launch.

 

Also, now that others pointed it out, I think either Mass Effect 3 or Andromeda would be the best pick. I'm leaning toward 3.
