are the hidden ones and pharoahs expansions missions playable alongside the main game or do they take place chronologically after the main game?

Dev kits always are big and weird looking and the big ugly thing behind the ps5 dev kits and next to the tv is the ps4 dev kit and what it looked like

Haven’t had ps+ in over a year because all I play is single player games.
