It's coming backkkk!!!!!

 

I've been reading a lot of Fables, so I'm down with a second season.

 

This is awesome! I'm not sure what that was posted a few pages back about it not coming but this is a great surprise.

 

There's not a ton of Fables related content anymore (well, there's Everafter but I'm not the biggest fan of the series) so that gets me even more hyped for TWAU S2.

 

I own this and haven't played it yet :/

 

I am glad they are going to end The Walking Dead. It had all the potential to be dragged out forever.

I am really loving Katamari Damacy so far. One of the best soundtracks.

 

Great game. Great, great, great game. I want a new-gen version so badly.

 

Are the other ones worth playing? I am playing through Slant's Top 100 games of all time list and the original was on there. I am obsessed.

 

The 360/PS3 versions are essentially just remade versions of the original with more content and more levels. That being said, yes, they're spectacular haha.

Hm, that's an unusually safe list from a publication like Slant.

 

I know way less about video games than film, but it seems like the shorter history and time requirements to play a game makes these top ten lists extremely similar.

 

True, that's fair. I do like that Mass Effect 2 was in their top 15. That certainly deserves it. Though I think they, and others do this too, gave precedent to what came first.

Also they said Banjo-Kazooie > Super Mario 64 so this list is the best by that metric alone.

is there any system that has had such a large chunk of their games age as poorly as the n64's have?

 

90% of first generation 3D games aged poorly, so mainly N64, PS1 (its advantage is that it had a lot of 2D-ish games) and Dreamcast. Mario 64 holds the fuck up though.

 

Mario 64 is legit. But Banjo Kazooie >>>>. Hell, Sunshine > 64

 

Yeah, I would have to agree that MARIO 64 is better than Banjo Kazooie. I have yet to play it, but I have heard nothing but great things about Yooka Lay Lee.

 

Sunshine is the best 3D Mario game
