I never understand why people do this.

 

I think I have three Gamecubes one of which is still in its packaging so I kind of see one gets there.. I also have a new 3DS, a 3DS XL and a New 3DS XL lmao

 

It does make a lot of sense actually because with the ONE for example, you can go from the bedroom to the living room and login and have your profile, games, etc right there. This especially makes sense with households that have children that use the console as well. You can both be on at the same time with different logins.

 

Yeah if you're sharing them with other family members it makes sense but some people just have multiples of the same console basically which is pointless to me.

 

Also, multiple accounts on the ONE can all share purchased content so it's really nice if you have kids that are gamers as well. Less extra shifts to work!

 

I don't judge anyone that literally has every console starting with the Nintendo on. The ONE/PS4 serve a far better purpose.

 

Seems like a waste of money to me, but it's not my money, so oh well haha. Just thought that was so strange.

 

Like I said, I don't judge and tell anyone to do what do with their money!

Speaking of money: Just bought a new 4K TV!

 

Buying multiple consoles reminds me of buying multiple games.

I have:

Halo 1 on PC, Xbox, Xbox 360
Halo 2 on PC, Xbox
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory on Xbox, PC and PS3
Deus Ex Human Revolution on Xbox 360, PC, and PS3
Half-Life 2 on PC, Xbox, and Xbox 360
HL2 Episodes 1/2 on Xbox 360 and PC.

 

games aren't quite as bad because they're usually pretty cheap. I have the Sonic games a dumb amount of times.

 

i have the resi 1 remake for gamecube, ps3 and ps4. if it comes to switch through vc i will buy it again

 

Gonna try out Paladins again, I liked what I saw from the game but it was still only against bots when I downloaded it, so I'm excited to see how it translates to against actual people.

 

I watched like 2 minutes so I'm sorry if it gets better but his takes in those two minutes, especially regarding video game websites reviewers vs. YouTubers, are fucking terrible lmao.

EDIT: I watched it all. Criticism has a lot of problems currently - from video games to movies to music to food - but this guy doesn't have the answers imo. He also contradicts himself in this video which is funny.

Also if your going to call out one person repeatedly, maybe do at least enough research to figure out that that person (Kallie Plagge) isn't a guy.

I need revisit MCC, think I was about half way through ODST. Such a great collection.

 

It is surprising how much attention Dunkey's video has gotten. Obviously he struck a nerve. It is one of his better videos.

 

Part of it is game reviewers talking about it which is ironic. Nothing in this video is new though, a lot of it is dubious and the few things that aren't are obvious.

 

Game reviews that sound like a broken record? I have never!

 

Set up my 4K TV and the ONE automatically changed settings upon recognizing it. First game I play with the new settings: Ori and the Blind Forest. MIND BLOWN!

 

Think I'm going to finish a game I have pending before starting a new one something like Dying Light or Alien Isolation that I never finished.

Then I think I'll do Black Flag, kind of want to get excited for an Assassin's Creed game again because AC2 bummed me out..

 

How'd AC2 bum you out?

 

Checking out Prey soon. Good choice?

 

Biggest issues I had were frankly my own hang ups but:
1) Game felt SUPER dated to me, clunky controls and voicework/cutscenes were just grating. I found myself honestly "suffering" through the game without much interest anymore in it.
2) It's far too long. I literally was like "okay, I think I'm about half way now, played for 15 hours or so I think it's about time to wrap this up." I looked and I was like 1/4 of the way done. I legit was like ".....no fucking way..."

 

The game is old but I personally think the second game was MUCH improved from the first. I don't want to get started on another 10 pages of rating the games again but I think most people would agree that 2 and Brotherhood are two of the best games in the series.

In regards to it's length: you know what you are getting when you buckle in for an AC game and that's what I personally love about them. There is so much to do and explore. Can it get tedious and repetitive? Of course.

I think what it boils down to is that AC games are not for everyone and you may just fall into that category of not enjoying them.
