Isn't sega doing a classic version too? I thought I read somewhere it was them and I think Atari both doing it and that the sega one could use the actual cartridges

 

No but random companies release horrible licensed "Sega Minis" all the time. The NES Mini is literraly the only one of these that isn't trash.

 

I just don't see what all the secrecy is about if it's just a plug-and-play. Plus they've been making those for years already, including ones that look like mini-2600s, so it's not like this is a new concept. But it also doesn't make sense for them to actually think they can break into the console market at this point. So in the end I just have no fucking clue what Atari could be doing or what they're thinking with this so it's funny to just imagine the possibilities.

 

This is a new company who recently bought the Atari name. I wouldn't expect anything of value to materialize.

 

Are you sure about that? Pretty sure this is still the same company since Infogrames renamed itself Atari in the early-00's.

Awesome Sega Genesis & Atari Flashback Consoles

I guess I was thinking of this. It's just newer versions of those licensed consoles I think.

 

Dishonored Death of the Outsider, Life is Strange, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Wolfenstein Deluxe Edition, Evil Within 2.

Im for sure buying these games, might as well just do it now and get it over with

Preordering any game that gives you a beta for doing so is a smart idea. Can always cancel if you don't like it.

I just genetally like to know the general reception of a game and if its buggy af before buying.

 

I'm done with pre ordering as well. Only a few exceptions.

My Switch got here today happy Fathers Day to me

 

Picked up a PS4 over the weekend and got The Last of Us. Absolutely love it.

Also plan on picking up Horizon and the Uncharted series (which I've never played).

Any other recs as far as exclusives go. I have an X1 so played a lot of the cross platform games.
