It is a prequel and I think removing the familiars has me more excited about it. For some reason they stressed me out in the first game.

 

So excited, Falcom are JRPG gods.

 

Mass Effect 1 and 2 lead writer Drew Karpyshyn is working on Anthem | PC Gamer

This gets me more excited about Anthem.

 

GTA SA is like much better than the other GTA games i think

 

anyone played Friday the 13th? it looks... real bad.

 

Not surprised considering OG Bioware Edmonton is Anthem's developer and the project was begun by Casey Hudson before he left.

 

they should have got that whole segment because it was amazing

It seems like Dead by Daylight is the better game, F13 selling because of its license more than anything else.

 

Just had a F13 game where 5 of us went head to head against Jason lol we were all taking turns getting our swings in. I've knocked the mask off three different times now so Jason doesn't seem as OP as he did at launch

I've been playing The Binding of Isaac for about two years now. Its taken over any video game time I've had for the majority of that time. For a good majority of that time, I've been trying to beat Mega Satan as The Lost. This basically involves a TON of luck. Today, I finally toppled it. This is bigger for me than beating Sephiroth in KH, any of the weapons or Yiazmet, or any other hidden boss that comes to mind. It was seriously the most frustrating thing in the world. I've finally managed to do it and I'm basically in tears. lol. Now that I've completed it, I feel like I can take in a huge sigh of relief and MAYBE finally put this game down for a minute.

Basically broke the game to do it, but ya know. Gotta do what you gotta do. Wish I could have uploaded the whole run.

 

I feel bad for anyone who read that post before I edited it. lol. I'm coming down from that adrenaline high.

 

henry i 100%ed the game in ~ a year/400 hrs, afterbirth in 1.5 months/120 hrs, and afterbirth+ in 2 months/100 hrs, get good

jk play the game at your own speed the lost is hard af (the keeper topped it once the lost got buffed w holy mantle imo tho). i haven't played the game in a few months now cause i wanted to move on to other narratives and it got too easy, but nothing beats the tension of a good but hard run that you know you can win

 

Haha he's literally the only character I struggled with. And only against MS. I finished all of his post-it before the buff. I think part of the problem was that I knew none of the tricks to trigger angel rooms. I just never looked any of it up. I finally started watching Hutts on youtube and saw the world that is exploits. I always dismissed the blank card and now it is my fave. Over the last month or so I've gotten a ton better. Feels good, man.

 

How do you check completion rate?

 

Are you looking at overall completion or just one game?

BioShock 2 is a fucking fantastic game. It's better than Infinite and possibly even a smidge better than its' predecessor. Big Daddy Drills and Arm Turrets are the fucking best, and I actually liked laying traps for the ADAM harvesting sidequests. Also, I'm a complete sucker for father-daughter shit, so this was right up my alley.

Not trying to say Infinite is bad, it is one of the most batshit insane ambitious games I've ever played! However, (like many) I do feel the narrative continually clashes with the combat, and said combat is just kinda sluggish to control.

If another BioShock were ever to happen, I feel like the setting of Westworld would be a perfect fit.
