It's pretty reasonable IMO, it's three remakes.

Yeah but they are bad games.

    Sorry ;D

What I actually mean is when you compare it to like Rare Replay (though those aren't remakes I guess). I just think 30 would be better, and they could sell them individually for 15$.

Tales From the Borderlands = first Telltale game I've played that I hate.

Why do you hate it? I personally loved it and I know it gets a lot of praise.

This story is awful. Borderlands isn't very story oriented which is all Telltale is
,so trying to make a story based game based off a shooter franchise was just a bad idea from the start imo.

I'm just pushing my way through it. Honestly don't know how to gets so much praise, the story is very uninteresting and is dragging on and on to me.

To each his own though :-)

It does get better and has one of the best endings of any of the TT games IMHO.

  13. I'd argue that Borderlands 2 is actually very story-oriented, especially with the Tiny Tina DLC. Just because you spend most of your playtime raiding bosses and hunting down loot doesn't mean the story isn't there.

Anyway, Tales from the Borderlands is easily the best Telltale game I've played. Good balance of classic Borderlands shenanigans and Telltale drama. Rhys and especially Fiona became two of my most favorite characters in the franchise by the end.

And yeah, the final episode is fucking awesome.

Yep, as a fan of Fables I might throw TWAU above TFTB but it's definitely up there.

  16. I've only played The Walking Dead S1-2, Tales from the Borderlands, and Game of Thrones so far. I'll probably go through The Wolf Among Us next. I'm a bit less excited about the earlier, more comedic ones they've done, but I'm pretty sure I own most of them. Still waiting for Michonne, Batman, and TWD S3 to go on sale.

Hah, I did. What a weird thing, getting to Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game levels of closing the media loop (except TWAU comic is actually perfectly fine unlike SFTMTG). I do really like that they made sure comic-only readers who didn't play the game still get to experience the canon game story.

  21. Yeah, they're more like choose-your-own-adventure book meets film than they are full-fledged games. The quicktime events are pretty terrible, too. The stories are usually good enough to justify at least one playthrough, though, imo. They don't really take that long to get through compared to even some of the shorter campaigns out there. I think it took longer for me to finish Half Life 2 or Bioshock Infinite than it did TTGoT, which has six episodes instead of the usual five.

But when? Why would they do it so close to Red Dead? And who made it?

Probably Rockstar Toronto. Rockstar have multiple studios. Rockstar San Diego dies Red Dead, Rockstar Birth does GTA, and Rockstar Toronto did Bully and they absorbed Rockstar Vancouver who developed Max Payne 3
