Here are some dumb ass Bethesda rumors:

I'm a leaker at Bethesda and I wanted to layout their plans for the future for you guys and give you some pre E3 leaks.

Firstly i'm speaking only about Bethesda game studios here not the publisher.

There will be a few announcements at E3 one is a new major title from Bethesda themselves aswell.

The two Major announcements are Fallout 4 VR and Starfield.

They are working on Skyrim VR aswell but they aren't sure if they are going to show it yet since they don't want to take the light away from Fallout 4 VR or Starfield.

Onto Starfield. The game has actually been in conceptual stages since around Fallout 3's release. It went into pre production officially very low tier pre production after Skyrims Release. After Fallout 4's release it went into full pre production and after all the DLC was out they sped into full development.

The game is going to be a sci fi open world RPG in typical bethesda first person fashion. Its going to feature 5-10 races there's still some debate on what should and shouldn't go in and takes place in the Fallout universe just so far in the future and far away from earth that it'll only be mentioned in hints. This is part of an ongoing planned interconnected universe of every Bethesda franchise. They gave hints of this by implying the Brotherhood of Steel created nirnroot in Fallout 4. They're getting a little wacky with the lore and using "Elder Scrolls time wounds" to justify lore inconsistencies.

Basically Fallout is the beginning of the timeline, Starfield is the middle, and Elder Scrolls is Far Future.

The game will feature space travel and hub worlds aswell as RNG worlds. Its meant to be a test into more sandboxy/minecraft ish AAA thing but with Bethesda gameplay and still actual designed worlds/quests/etc.

They have another Fantasy game of a famous franchise in the works. Game of Thrones and preproduction Elder Scrolls VI and conceptual for Elder Scrols VII which is Todds Magnum Opus.

Feel free to ask any questions.

    Bethesda Leaks

Here's some more of that guy's posts if anyone's curious. Sounds like bullshit, Starfield's been rumored for years (Bethesda has the name trademarked) so while that's possibly/likely their new IP RPG, gonna guess this guy almost certainly doesn't know anything about it. I also don't expect to see it this year, gonna guess Evil Within 2/Wolfenstein New Colossus will be their big announcements, with maybe some Prey/Dishonored/Doom DLC on the side.

I hope Starfield is this year though, not much coming this fall that I care about (at least so far).

While the idea of elder scrolls/fallout/etc taking place in the same universe sounds neat on paper it really wouldn't make sense given what we know of how the fallout universe works.

I think this fall is pretty much Destiny, Mordor and Mario for me so far, would love a meaty Bethesda RPG thrown in there too. I'm just not going to be too disappointed if it's not shown off or announced.

Like, we know the world is deeply scarred by nuclear warfare, we know that in the FO universe the microprocessor was never invented so everyone went nuclear, the Cold War never ended, etc so it would be odd to try and cram TES in there as the "future". Hell it honestly doesn't make sense for TES to be the past either, although magical spells could help explain a certain boss in the Nuka Cola DLC of FO4 but he would be just 1 exception and it would cause too many other plot holes. So yeah that sounds far fetched

I've actually never heard of Starfield that sounds like a cool concept. Didn't know it had been around a lot. Sounds like Bethesdas take on Mass Effect

Bethesda Game Studios are now a two team studio (Bethesda Game Studios Montreal now exists), so I can see their production ramp up. Hopefully BGS Montreal aren't disappointing to me like Bioware Montreal.

Yes they do. The coupon is for a used game and unless I missed that they are recycling game codes, I'm okay with not using it.

It's not a bad game by any means, and it's only happening because so many people are playing. It's annoying, but doesn't stop me from wanting to play. It's actually kinda helping it not get too old too fast.

Does the lobby have to be filled to start a match?

The max amount of players in a lobby is 8, and the minimum to start is 6. The worst is playing with a lot of underage kids who shouldn't be playing that decide to cancel the match the second they realize they aren't Jason, and then you go back to waiting. They keep saying they're working on matchmaking to clear this all up, so I'm hoping that's sooner rather than later.

Yeah, I can see that being frustrating. They should come up with a way to fill the game with bots and then as people join they will rotate in. It will make the matches much smoother and quicker. It sounds like it's not ranked matches anyway.

Do they penalize people for leaving early or anything?

  18. carrytheweird

They really should, but no, I think they believe putting yourself back on the waiting list is punishment enough in its own haha.

For an indie game funded by kickstarter, the graphics and gameplay are great. I think they just truly did not expect the sales they got.

Oh, I totally get it. People are eventually going to get sick of waiting in a lobby even if the gameplay is good. Let's hope they are quick to respond!
