Deck Nine, formerly Idol Minds, teased yesterday that they were working on a "narrative adventure game" in a critically acclaimed franchise. Concept art for it has leaked, it's a Life is Strange prequel focusing on Chloe and Rachel (separate from DONTNOD's Life is Strange project).

I hope that's true, I loved LIS and thought Chloe was a interesting chartacter. Not sure what they could revolve the story around though (other than Chloe and Rachel becoming friends), as you would've thought with Chloe and Max's relationship that if something major had happened to Chloe previously that she would've mentioned it (especially with all the stuff going on in LIS).

 

Shadow of War delayed until October 10th.

 

It's all good. My backlog is all consuming. I've been participating in a few contests to make some better progress in it.

 

That's bad. I mean if it's not ready it's not ready but I think that game will have problems competing in the fall.

 

I'm pretty confident it will stand on its own two feet. Competition is healthy!

Competition is good but that doesn't mean you should send your game out against titles that'll steal its air (as in big fall games), the last few falls have been brutal to some games with arguably bigger names.

 

I'd say that franchise is pretty big. Oh well, we shall see! I'll support the game either way.

 

Makes me wonder if Scorpio launches in October, since that game is seemingly billed as the first big scorpio title (outside of first party).

 

I was playing some overwatch wth some buddies last night and we were playing against a 6 man group.

This mccree was just destroying us so I was pissed. I was like "THATS IT IM QUITTING OVERWATCH AND PLAYING BATTLEBORN"

the group started busting up laughing.
