Bayonetta 2 is one of my all favorites, the original is pretty darn good too.

this is legit the first time ive heard anyone say anything bad about phantom pain

i played bayonetta a little while ago and didnt really like it, i played the ps3 version though which i hear is pretty bad

 

I know you have a WiiU. No excuses lol
I really wish it was a multi platform game so more people could enjoy it.

Off wifi. It has failed downloading and installing. I read online that deleting the download file and redownloading can fix it, so I tried that then I spent 2 hours trying to get the download and it failing. Finally downloaded it to a usb and am trying that now.

Long story short: It's a cluster.

 

USB worked. Preordered Full Throttle.

It was the first game I bought for my Wii U and the main reason I got one. My girlfriend wants to play it with me though so we had to go through the first before we started the second and we just haven't finished it because of time and other games. I need to soon though.

 

Really? I always thought it was pretty poorly received until I saw it's metascore the other day when the Zelda stuff was happening. I guess I must have missed all the positivity.

 

One of the reasons I'm holding off on the Switch. I'm afraid I'll never go back to my WiiU and finish the games I need to

 

I impulse bought it yesterday when it hit steam. It's honestly so good. The first couple of hours were so intriguing I went back and watched 2 and a half hours of video about the previous game and older Yoko Taro games to catch myself up

 

First level of Nier was fantastic. I was a little less into the second level that kind of introduces a mini open world with missions and shit but still very intrigued by the game and love the style/combat.

 

It's more of a hub, I guess, with a bunch of smaller more focused areas like the first level attached to the hub.

 

Yeah, that's a better description.

 

Was it lots of pointing and clicking?

 

I haven't played any of Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, or Grand Theft Auto. I have a few RE games and all of GTA except 5 on PC. I don't even know if MGS is on PC.

 

Was the first one any good? I'm looking for more games to circle back to after just upgrading to this gen recently.

 

It's OK. Not terrible, not great. I enjoyed it enough and I didn't regret pre ordering it, but the sequel is 10x better

 

so nier automata is the 4th time this year ive seriously thought "well this is the best game ive ever played".

2017 is seriously one of the best years for video games ever.

and yakuza 0.

yakuza 0 has to be the most ive ever laughed/cried/played mini games/fallen into a hole of sidequests/being completely addicted too.
