I'm going to need to restart RE7 over again. There are molded all over and I wasted all my ammo for no reason. I can't protect myself at all lol.

Like there's four of them coming at me and I only have a switchblade.

I have my PS4 connected through WiFi and never had any issues at all DL anything.

Maybe it's because it's 3 feet away from the modem?

The only real issue I've had is sometimes while playing a game the movement will be all jacked up for a few minutes but it eventually goes away

I think the movement is jacked up if you hold your controller like tilted backwards. Like I would used to put my hands behind my head with my controller as I was kicked back in the chair, but I realized that caused my movement to be so messed up.

Did it do that for every game?

The games I've noticed it on for me are The Witness and I think it did it in Firewatch and Ether One.

    All first person movement:chin:

Decided to just go ahead and buy Nier since I realized I had a ton of Amazon credit and no longer plan on buying ME.

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

It took me 53 hours to 100% all of Sleeping Dogs definitive edition.

The main story was still so good but the DLC made me hate everything and I'm glad I'm done with it.

It's now time to figure out my next single player game.

Awesome dude! I knew you'd love it.

    Metal Gear Solid 2
    Silent Hill 2
    Shadow of the Collosus

all are works of art. SH2 and MGS2 are even better than SoTC. SH2 you don't need to play any of the others at all to understand. MGS 2 you can play before MGS1 honestly. That's what I did originally. It's got a theme that is one of the most relevant I can think of in any medium and genuinely provocative and shocking. Youre going to love it.

I'd say you'll get more out of MGS2 if you play the first before it.

I played the first two Metal Gear games so far. They were okay, but very repetitive. I will play Metal Gear Solid 1 sooner than later.

Like the NES ones? Holy shit haha

Yeah MGS1 and 2 are companion pieces storywise. There's a piece of 1s plot that's expounded upon pretty creatively in 2. MGS1 is silly but extremely fun. 2 is art and politics. There's alot going on with them. They're supposed to be a farcry from the original NES games though I haven't personally played those.

I have put off Metal Gear Solid because I heard the gameplay has not aged well and might be hard.

I first played it when MGS4 came out and thought it was great. Had no issues.

I played MGS a couple years ago but stopped at the fight against Rex. Which I assume is near the end

Going to start Bayonetta, Bioshock 2, and Kingdom Hearts Chains of Memories during spring break. I will try Metal Gear Solid after those.

Arthur Gies (head of reviews at Polygon) talks a lot about the new Mass Effect on the new episode of Rebel FM and it is by far the most nouanced look at the game I have seen or heard so far. They also look at what is going on now within the larger context of "fan feedback" on Bioware in general and Mass Effect in particular. They also talk about how that shitshow changed the video game industry for the worse.

By the way, his opinion on the actual game is (as opposed to the blowback), very simply put, this: he likes it a lot, but also sees the flaws, especillay early in the game. He also says it's a lot like Dragon Age Inquisition. He also says that, except for some animations and some faces, it is very pretty and sometimes "jaw droppingly beautiful".

The intro had me hooked. Then when they thrust me into the open world, I was like I'm done.
