I would recommend it, those side games really expand the story. I would get 2.8 to play Dream Drop Distance as well as the .8 Birth by Sleep chapter.

If you haven't, I would also pick up 1.5+2.5 in March so you can play Birth by Sleep.

 

I'm so backlogged right now. Still haven't touched The Last Guardian, only an hour into Final Fantasy, only a little ways into Pokemon Moon, and I want to keep playing the remastered Skyrim. This is what happens when I am obsessed with Overwatch and leave no time for anything else

Lame. I had orginally tried to order it when it was in stock, but apparently fell asleep after putting it in my cart. Was so annoyed. I believed I ordered it and then checked later in the day and it was still sitting in my cart, mocking me for preordering so late.

 

Yeah, I ordered mine on Saturday when it said it was available and would be here on Tuesday, but still nothing.

Yeah, I notice that too. Kinda surprised they don't make a big marketing push, using Star Wars as leverage. I feel like a lot of SW fans could really get into it.

 

Thanks for this post. I just want to clarify two things:

1) In the conversation we had a couple of months back, I said that a POC character in Watch Dogs 2 was very poorly handled by Ubisoft, a point which if I remember correctly you agreed with. I don't think Ubisoft are above criticism just because they make an effort with diversity in their games. However, just so it's clear, I will say again that of course I think it's fantastic that Ubisoft's games often feature a diverse cast of characters. The most scathing criticism I had for Watch Dogs 2 in terms of race was that it didn't have anything "poignant or unique to say" when compared to other art forms like music or film. You rightly pointed out that this was an unfair comparison as Ubisoft are one of the only big game developers that make an effort with social commentary in their games. I then softened my stance and agreed with you that when put in the context of the videogame industry, Ubisoft's attempts to provide social commentary on race are actually really good. Although as I already said, I don't think this means they're above criticism, and I still think it's worthwhile to point out the mistreatment of Horatio and the way in which they handle the aftermath of his death in Watch Dogs 2. The posts are all still there if anyone wants to go and look. I can't be accused of deleting anything either, because every post I made was quoted by others, I'm sure.

2) Yesterday, we briefly debated how effective the story in TLOU is. Looking back, I think one of my posts was definitely worded too strongly and probably came across as confrontational, particularly the sentence "that's fine if you didn't see it that way, doesn't change the fact that you're wrong though", and for that I do apologise. I can totally understand why that would've annoyed you, and again, I'm sorry. I probably should've said something like "I can't help but feel you're misinterpreting their relationship" or something along those lines instead. After that post, you then accused me of attacking diversity in all Ubisoft games. I quoted some old posts to prove that this wasn't the case and that you were in fact confusing me with another user. I also asked a user who liked your incorrect post to provide evidence that I had made comments attacking diversity in Ubisoft games. He failed to do this, deciding instead to make a snarky comment which attracted several likes from other users, which puzzles me, as I'd already shown that he was wrong. Following this failure to actually provide any evidence that I had said these things, the parameters of the conversation changed, and I was then accused of "unliking" comments. I said it feels "cliquey" in here because it was clear that it was a case of me Vs the regulars, seeing as once I had already proved my innocence (lol, sounds dramatic), other accusations were thrown my way. No one came to my defence, even though I went to the effort of finding and quoting my old posts from months ago to demonstrate that the accusations were untrue. Therefore I can't help but feel that if someone is one of the regulars, it doesn't matter if they're right or wrong, because the other regulars will of course back them up regardless, and "like" any snarky comments they make. It made me feel like I was being unfairly ganged up on.

Basically, if anyone wants to attack me for something I've said, then go for it. But please don't attack me for something someone else said. I don't want to argue anymore, especially not in this thread, so if you want to continue this conversation maybe we should take it over to PMs but tbh I don't have anything else to say. I just wanted to offer my side of the story.

P.S. Sorry for the essay, but I just wanted to make sure that my words can't be twisted, hence why I went into detail.

They are great. Bentley (my dog) is great with my son (who will turn one next month...OMG where did the time go!) Just make sure you get them plenty of exercise.

 

Great dog but WAY TOO MUCH fur. Airedale's are hypoallergenic and don't really shed.
