probably, but what I meant was Wii U games in particular. Gamecube will easily be emulated. For some reason Gamecube emulation isn't very taxing. My piece of junk PC can emulate Gamecube great.

 

Yeah, Dolphin is amazing. A PC might as well be a virtual console, which is why I haven't bought a nintendo system in quite a while. Though Switch will unlikely be directly BC with Wii U, it is possible it might get some select Wii U hits/exclusives ported over eventually.

 

I loved DOOM buuuuuuut it wears thin towards then end and has one really shitty boss fight. Also, if you don't read the terminals and so forth there is almost no story.

I saw the "PS2 on PS4" tab and I know they have Final Fantasy VII, a PS1 game, but I couldn't find a PS1 tab. I bought Red Dead Revolver, so now I have a game to play on my PS4.

 

So the first two days of Smite World Championship were ok. There was a few good games but for the most part all the predicted teams made it to the semis.

The semis today have been INSANE. Both games are going to go the full 5 and the big storyline going into the finals will be if we get a EU vs EU or EU vs NA for the finals.

Luminosity Gaming(NA) just came back from 2-1 to go for a game 5 against the defending world champs NRG Gaming(EU).

 

The version of FFVII is a port specifically for PS4. It's a unique case, there aren't any other PS1 games on PS4 like there are PS2 (which is incredibly stupid considering even the PSP could play the emulated PS1 games they offer on PSN).

 

Got infamous second son and the Nathan Drake collection.

 

Luminosity loses in the last game and NRG takes the set.

NRG vs Obey Alliance for the Smite World Championship. I'm so hyped for tomorrow.

 

Just picked up Until Dawn and Shadow Of Mordor for 35 bucks. Trying to catch all the games I've missed but wanted to play since the PS4 release.

For anyone interested, I'm in the process of uploading playthroughs of The Last Guardian to prove that you can get through the entire game easily without the camera tripping out much or being frustrated by bad controls. I notice when watching several playthroughs and reading reviews that most of the problems seem to come from players not learning the extent of the gameplay mechanics. More than anything, I'm convinced the complaints about Trico being unresponsive are way overblown and are the result of an inability to learn his "personality" and behavior. After playing two thirds of the game, so far I've died a handful of times in a way that one would typically die in pretty much every platforming game (falling off ledges, not gauging distance accurately when jumping, etc), the camera has only freaked out two, maybe three times and Trico has been responsive to commands like 90% of the time (remember only a few occasions where you had to wait more than five-ten seconds for him to do something). The game is rightfully criticized for not being polished enough, technically, IMO, but there is kind of an unfair stigma about those technical issues being so bad they make the game too frustrating to enjoy as it was intended.

 

If you haven't played Ratchet and Clank or Titanfall 2 yet, definitely add them! Not to mention Bloodborne and Infamous: Second Son.

 

Having so much fun with Ratchet and Clank. Doom will be my next game after that.

 

Finally beat fucking Bully Scholarship edition to 100%

 

I've gone and bought Rachet & Clank on the PS4 due all you guys and girls talking about how good it is this week, was only £12.99 on the PSN January sale.

 

I really want Insomniac to continue with the Ratchet and Clank reboot. Easily my favorite game of 2016.

The more I played Titanfall 2, the more I think I like it more than BF1.
