Pretty easy Platinum but fun completion! The last battle was rough though

The Park was fun and creepy as shit. Just finished N.E.R.O.:Nothing Ever Remains Obscure and that one was cool. Can't think of anymore of the top of my head.

Are they bringing SC back?

Were you expecting it to? Don't know of any console that ever has.

Does anybody know of any apps to track what you're playing?

 

It was on sale last week but it's still only 20 dollars, check out The Valley. It has the sort of stuff you would expect in those kind of games but also really fun, kind of like Sonic first person style game play. I've played about two hours of it and I'm having a great time.

 

All moved in to my new place and got my tv and game system set up, wifi is pretty much unusable rn but ima have them come out here next week to fix it. Til then, it's time for watch dogs 2

 

The XBox 1 has backwards compatibility for hundreds of XBox 360 games.

 

No I know that but that's the big selling point of BC. It's exclusive to X1. Sony's basically "remastering" their older games and releasing them again separately on PS4.

 

Most consoles used to be backwards compatible. I miss it.

 

Xbox's bc system is very well done.

 

When I bought my original PS3 I didn't even buy a new game for a while, just played PS1 and PS2 games. Having the library become irrelevant, even digital games, is really disappointing.

 

Anything that won't make me poop my pants?

I can usually handle games with horror elements (BioShock, The Last of Us) but straight survival horror is usually too much for me.

Got through that mine sequence in Ethan Carter but I did not like it, lol!

 

I actually picked up Valley on the sale last week! Haven't started it yet, but good to hear my gut instinct was right!

Just remembered: anybody play Virginia? I saw that on sale last week, looked interesting but didn't go for it. Any good?

 

You might check out Ether One as well. It may be more puzzle driven then you're looking for though

 

Nah, Ether One looks cool! Wasn't on sale, though.

Also really jonesing to try Jazzpunk, but haven't yet for the same reason.

 

I would say throughout history most consoles aren't backwards compatible.

I also miss BC. Sony really shit the bed by not having it on the PS4, or even a decent digital games library, like on the PS3. Seems like they got greedy this gen with PSnow (paying a somewhat high, neverending subscription to older PS games that run in shittier resolutions and poorly overall depending on your internet connection? No thanks) and mandatory PSplus (if you want to play online).

Hoping they adopt a more Steam-inspired approach to PSN at some point in the near future because the only reason to have a PS4 now (if you have a decent PC) is for Sony exclusives, and there are so few great ones so far this gen, but having true access to classics would bring far more value to the console.

 

360 could only run 279 xbox games in BC

 

Wii and Wii U too, not counting Nintendo's handhelds.

 

Switch will have zero BC most likely.

Yeah, you're right actually. Just my memory of having most of my consoles be.

PS3 and PS2 were.
The Wii/Wii U were.
The 360 was for the Xbox.
Most of Nintendo's handhelds have been.

That was pretty much my memory of gaming until this gen. I had a mega drive when I was little but never got a Saturn so I never had that disappointment. I got a N64 later on in life so never had that disappointment when I initially got the Gamecube. Guess I've just been lucky.

 

How many Xbox games were there? haha. That's a lot of games.

 

It played everything I wanted to play from my Xbox. Which was pretty much just Halo 2 but still.
