Demo? Where?!

 

It was on PSN but only for a limited time, for a couple weeks back in August.

 

Honestly, I'd say BF, Unity (post-updates) and Syndicate are all solid 8.0 games (and I usually have no interest in the series) so it just depends on which experience you want. IV is a great Caribbean Pirate-themed adventure game with some of the most varied gameplay in the series as you have ship battles, look for treasure on explorable islands and in ocean water, along with some of the parkour moments the series is known for when you get to cities. Unity has more of an AC2-type feel and features some breathtaking detail put into the architecture and interior design that really makes you feel like you're exploring late 1700's Paris. Syndicate I've only played a bit of, but I kinda remember it being better received overall than Unity (possibly because of all the technical problems Unity had on launch day) and so far it has that Victorian London mood down pat.

 

She was pretty tough. Hope you're enjoying it though!

 

I love it. It took me 4 or 5 tries to beat that boss, but it was worth it. We need more fun adventure/platforming games like this. I miss playing this kind of stuff.

 

Seriously! I'm hoping for more on this console generation. Have you played Re:Core that seemed like a kinda similar equivalent. I really need to go back and finish Sunset Overdrive

 

Spent Christmas break at my parents house and so I was limited to a PS3. Beat the Last of Us and the DLC Left Behind for the 3rd time. The endings still give me chills. Freaking amazing. The atmosphere, the build up, the dialog, the music. Best story in the last 3 years.

 

I don't know man LL does a good enough job with the lip sync battle show

 

Haven't seen this in awhile. Is Chrissy Teigen still pointless on here?

agreed. I love the segment because of him. for it's own show it'd be fun bringing in more clueless gamers to review with him, but it should still have him at least.

 

Not sure I can watch 30 minutes of CG. I mean how many games can be covered in 30 minutes? 3?

except for there's never been a let's play with an active narrator who is interesting or funny or not a complete basement dweeb

 

I'd much rather watch a Let's Play with a guy like that than some hired starving actor pretending they give a shit.

only good let's plays are ppl who don't talk. there's some truly dark stuff out there

 

I'll watch the show if TBS casts Thomas Middleditch and Kumail Nanjiani.

 

Lets take the best part about Clueless Gamer, remove it and then extend it by 20 mins. Gold.

I heard re:core was bad, read a bunch of negative reviews, and that put me off.

I definitely loved Sunset. I finished that game really fast, I couldn't let go of it.

 

is Sunset THE platformer on xbox? really jealous of everyone playing Ratchet and Clank.

 

If I had an Xbox One I'd definitely be all over Sunset Overdrive. Insomniac makes great games.

 

That's how I feel. It feels unnecessary to be doing a show for it when it wasn't that funny in the first place
