finally came to a decision, going to buy a ps vita. there's enough games I want to play for the vita, then there's the ps one back log, and the remote play i'll get a ton of use out of as well. think I'm going to go with refurbished, do people think 8 gb memory card is okay or should I just go 16 gb. and I've seen some people say it's worth getting the few years extra protection. I've personally never done that for any consoles and been fine.

Dang I thought for sure June. Though I could see it getting pushed.

 

June?? I don't think EA's ever launched a big AAA game like this in the summer.

 

June isn't what it used to be. May/June the last couple years saw some huge games. The Witcher 3,Uncharted 4, Overwatch, and Doom all came out around that time if I recall correctly.

 

I won't believe any release date until it's in my hands

 

May is fair game, but June for EA? Nah lol. Mirror's Edge came out early June last year and flopped and the UFC game by EA came in the summer and flopped as well. I think EA are done with summer release.

 

Switch will take priority over Mass Effect.

 

I'm interested in the Switch, but find my Nintendo consoles tend to spend more time gathering dust than even being plugged in.

Still think Mass Effect will get pushed.

I think I'm with you on this one. I'm still a little skeptical of getting a Nintendo console at launch after getting burned by the Wii, but i also dont want to worry about not being able to buy the console for weeks after it's released.

Pretty sure I'll be grabbing Hitman when it drops on disc at the end of the month.

I like Kotaku's lists.

and I was just talking with a friend about how I'm surprised to see Hitman on so many lists since I feel like it wasn't talked about much during the year. I've never played a Hitman game, could I start here? keep in mind I am ultra-obsessive about playing things in order.

 

I don't know, I haven't played the trilogy. I've only played Absolution and Hitman 2016. But I feel the same, I'm surprised to see it on lists for the same reason haha. I'm not sure if there's a continuous story or not. This new one looks like it's some kind of reboot or something.

 

I've been a huge fan of Hitman for over a decade now. Hitman 2016 is pretty good so far, just completed the Bangkok level yesterday and I'll work my way through Colorado tonight. I wish the game was longer than 6 missions, but oh well.

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin will always be my favourite.
