This is exactly why I gave up on it too.

 

I really enjoyed Infamous Second Son! Even with some of the more repetitive side quests, I still had a ton of fun using all the powers and doing them in different ways. The main story was pretty enjoyable too. A very fun game.

I still need to pick up Watch Dogs 2. I've had such a huge backlog lately, I'm trying to clear up some of it before I get anything else. I'm working through Rise of the Tomb Raider right now.

 

WD1 was for sure a slog to get through...AC series really....hurts me to finish (still stuck on AC2)

I think both Far Cry 3 and 4 have these issues, 3 more than 4 I'd say.


Second Son was fun, what I played which wasn't too much.

 

I've loved the game. Combat is a blast, and the main story gets a lot better as it transitions to a linear format. That side quests are full, but the visuals of the setting and monsters you fight make up for any necessary grinding imo. Game gets an 8/10 for me, and was a solid introduction to the series for me.

 

Second Son is great, especially for the prices you can get it at.

 

That game caught me off guard with how much I enjoyed it.

 

Definitely repetitive in way of map clearing, but I could traverse Seattle all day with those powers and be happy.

 

Nice. I started out with an N64 and Game Boy but I have since then bought every Nintendo system and 2600.

 

What are some of your favorite game boy games? The game boy line is my favorite console ever

 

The Gameboy Zelda series IS Zelda to me.

 

The only games that I ever got on GB gbc and GBA were only pokemon. So many games that I missed out on.

 

My favorite gameboy games will always be anything Advanced Wars.

Castlevania Aria of Sorrow is ace.

 

Golden Sun and it's not even close.

 

There was a mario and luigi gba game I loved. Superstar saga or something

 

Metroid Fusion

 

I think the Pokemon games on the original Game Boy are still amazing and amazing pieces of software considering the hardware. Mario Land 2 is still one of my favorite games of all time. Like most I also think Tetris on the Game Boy moght be the best version of the game and it is still great. I did not get deep into games until the GBA though. The Nintendo handhelds in general have always been my favorite platforms at any given time.

Found a PC gamer who's selling his PS4 pro with BF1 for $300. Picking up tomorrow given it works and runs. Excited.

 

My favorite is definitely Link's Awakening. In fact that's probably my favorite video game ever. And not to sound like a "genwunner" but I remember being the first kid in my school to know what Pokémon was because I randomly bought blue before the anime. I tried to tell everyone about that. Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins was a staple for me as well.

Golden Sun was great. I missed out on he different Castlevanias and Advanced Wars. I need to go back to those. Also loved FF Tactics Advance. Need to finish that one.

Right? It's like I love Gen 1 because of my nostalgia for it and when I got the game. I fell out of Pokémon after Gen 2 and came back during Platinum. I was in high school and therefore "too cool" for Gen 3
