I abandoned my backlog and I am now taking a much more relaxed approach to buying and playing games. It mostly works out.

 

Just bought the soundtrack on vinyl. Stoked!

My highest recommendation to Bloodborne.

I had never played a Souls game, but chipped away at Bloodborne slowly over 6 months, and I would say I was savoring it, though it was more being intimidated by the oppressiveness of the game and its atmosphere. Every time I went to play, I was legitimately anxious about it, but it kept pulling me back.

Not sure I'll even waste the time signing in. As a long time Ghost Recon fan until that Future Soldier atrocity a few years ago, I don't think I'd ever want to touch this series again.

I dont think I've lost at Gwent in the last like twenty games I played other than one of the dudes in the tournament.

 

I lost a whole bunch at the beginning of the game and pretty much forgot about Gwent, then about 200 hours later I had gathered a collection of amazing cards and jumped back in and never lost.

 

Yeah this is essentially what happened to me. I started focusing all of my energy on acquiring Gwent cards rather than quests.

 

I love card games, love RPG mini games (I spent way too many hours on Triple Triad) and love Witcher 3 but cannot for the life of me get into Gwent.

 

It's alive.
