I didn't much love psychonauts but I do like what silent hill does, at least from what I know of it

 

Of course! And I hope you're in an OK place yourself, mentally, if you're digging this stuff up. I like it but sometimes it gets overwhelming.

 

I appreciate that. I have been dealing with some downswings in my depression lately, and I thought this might be a nice option for helping with it. It's a work in progress and all of that, but I have also just been curious about this genre for a while.

 

In Deus Ex, I got about 3/4's of the way through before I went "....hm fuck stealth" and went full rage on the enemies.

Was fulfilling.

 

I will do that on 2nd playthrough. I need those non-lethal and no alarm trophies.

 

I never got those in HR, so I didn't even pretend I was going to get them here. But you get more points for stealth and also find/learn more if you don't kill everything.

But damn, I was so tired and had a crap ton of ammo in all my guns so I said "WHY NOT?!"

 

I don't have any guns, except my tranq and stun gun. I only pick up shotguns and whatnot to sell.

 

I have a full arsenal haha ;)

the original? I try to play fairly nonlethal but the game just doesn't offer enough nonlethal options/ammo so occasionally i kill and occasionallyer i massacre, aha. just had to go all-out for the fucking escort mission which i feel no guilt for.

 

Nah, the new one Mankind Divided. I do tend to be pretty poor at stealth so I give up and go "fps" on it haha

 

everything about this game is supposed to be so bad but yet I'm so addicted just because it's a baseball game.

 

I still haven't started the Bioshock remasters despite buying it over a week ago. 'the fuck is wrong with me?

I've almost 100%'d the trophies on Rocket League, never bothered with them before but they were easy to get.

 

For the most part they are really easy. Before the most recent update it was just pure luck getting a certified or painted item but now that you can trade it is SO much easier.

 

It turned out I had a couple already, then I opened 5 more chests and got 3 others. Guess it was my lucky day!

Yeah I keep finding myself trying to be sneaky the whole time, but I feel more satisfied when I say fuck it and start shooting. I don't have the time or patience for that shit.

I wasn't interested in Battlefield until watching this. I assume that the death and respawn system will work like this throughout the game. I think it's a simple but very effective inclusion. What would be even cooler is if after you die it would show you a couple of stats like how long your character survived, how many kills he had etc.
