  2. They keep making playable characters into NPCs and vice versa. I'd like to see Fiona (and Rhys) as a playable characters, or at the very least NPCs, in a game like Borderlands 3. Fiona's elemental gun is so sweet. And having a robot arm in combat could be pretty cool, too. The Pre-Sequel was cool in how the playable character you choose actually has conversations with characters around you; I can see Fiona/Rhys being implemented into a main game as playable characters without losing their personalities.

A TFTBL Season 2 would be great, too, but I think it should follow a new(ish) character like TWD S2 did. I haven't heard anything from Telltale's end, but I do remember reading something about a new Borderlands in the works that's not necessarily going to be called "Borderlands 3."

So an update on my Rimworld playthrough (if anyone is interested): I got raided, which isn't so bad but this time someone had a grenade launcher and injured about 4 of my 8 colonists. Even though that seemed bad, we persevered and managed to fight off the raiders and headshotted the grenade launcher guy, which cause the rest to flee. We lost one person due to infection which sucks, but it happens.

After this though, whilst everyone is recovering from the raid, I get a warning that a pack of alphabeavers are here and won't stop till they eat all the wood in the area. The worst part about this is that the pack of alphabeavers have a lot of numbers (about 25-30) and can turn manhunter when they are attacked. I stopped playing there because I literally said "Nope not right now" and will play the rest later.

    Man, I love this game.

I'm not sure how long it's going to last but Forza Horizon 3 is $20 on Targets website right now. For those that are interested.

Update: They are cancelling all orders and said there was an accident on the site.

    I don't see it. Says $60 here.

No, my apologies. Trying to restrict what games I play and how often for my health.

i'm so sorry i didn't get back to you when i said i would! it's been a hectic week. if you're still interested:

    steam:

    the cat lady
    papo y yo
(not strictly about depression or anxiety, but it's a beautiful metaphor for a young child growing up with an alcoholic parent)
    depression quest (free)
the static knows my name (free)
claire (i THINK it's about anxiety? I forget. but i'm fairly sure it is)
    neverending nightmares
    gravity ghost
(not quite about depression, but dealing with grief. beautiful)
    knock knock
    knytt underground
(to say it's "about" depression or anxiety isn't accurate, but it sometimes deals quite suddenly with such themes. personally one of my favorite games of all time, has helped me find peace from anxiety through its calming gameplay and music itself)
    nihilumbra
The Average Everyday Adventures of Samantha Browne
    (free)
    the beginner's guide (artistic anxiety)
where is my heart? ("adult" fears of family falling apart, one character i would say has anxiety but it's subtle. another one of my all-time favorites)

    drm-free/itch/gamejolt (most/all are free i think):

the shadows that run alongside our car
    guilt
    longest night
(short, sweet, one of my favorites)
homesickened (not really "about" anxiety as much as it is about nostalgia and going back and finding that everything's changed, but i kinda feel like it fits)
the yellow wallpaper (based on the short story)
    sleep start
    frail shells
    (about ptsd)
    macroDepression
    a box full of joy
    (been a while but i believe it's a surreal depression/alcoholism game)
    a fragment of her
    being her darkest friend
(sequel to a fragment of her - both very good!)
    keep in mind
    ten weeks
    (depression due to debilitating disease)
tess (been a while, pretty sure it's at least a bit about depression)

hope this helps! sorry again for the late response. if you have trouble finding any let me know, and if you like i can keep you updated with anymore i find that i fancy :)

No Man's Sky is another one.

Though that game doesn't deal with depression so much as it gives you depression.

Now that I think about it, NMS actually is a great metaphor for depression. Aimlessly wandering a hostile universe you don't understand, struggling to find purpose, and then eventually giving up having been crushed under the weight of despondence and futility. Fuck maybe that was the point the whole time. Sean Murray might be a genius.

i think i'll actually really enjoy that game once it drops down to a price that i'd be willing to pay for a video game (< $8). seems very zen-like, exploration heavy, with ambient music and a strange story. that's like my checklist.
