As close to Banjo-Kazooie as possible but not Banjo-Kazooie was pretty much the entire pitch of the game.

 

Yeah BL2 is very closely coupled with Tales. I feel confident saying that if you're loving Tales having never played Borderlands, you'd be enjoying it ten times more if you'd played BL2.

I can't remember if I mentioned this, but I finished BioShock. It was great. The last fight was a bit disappointing in how stereotypical it was,. It overall I really enjoyed it. I got the good ending, which I'm happy about.

Starting BioShock 2 soon.

 

lol that was pretty much the only complaint amongst the reviews around the time it came out, and I agree. The whole game has so much choice, and cool ways of approaching enemies/areas yet the final fight is against a very cliche boss.

Anyway I'm re playing it now, and having a ton of fun. I'm in Arcadia currently.

Handsome Jack is a great antagonist. Can't really think of many games that have a massive focus on them. Vaas and Pagan Min from Far Cry are pretty memorable.

Working for CDPR sounds like hell.

 

Really interested to see where this goes. Bought the game upon PC release with the mindset of "I'm sure it'll improve drastically, plus I want to support an independent dev" and now feel totally shafted on both fronts, considering the lack of movement and ceased communication since. Definitely regretting my purchase, at least at full price.

 

Seems like these indie, no disc needed, third party games are where it's at? Any must-get stuff out there, games or accessories, that I should be aware of? I literally sold my PS3 in 2009 and didn't pay attention to gaming until basically the past month.

Also, my gamer tag is Cygnus Freud for anybody who wants to stay up every night playing Rocket League with me.

 

I need to finish those... I started FC3, but I wasn't super into it. I feel like I need to play everything Ubi does because of the whole AC universe thing.

I'm starting to think that's a conspiracy and the tie-ins are just easter eggs, though. >.>

Also, Handsome Jack is absolutely one of my favorite antagonists. Borderlands is a fantastic franchise. I want a new one!

 

AC and Watch_Dogs are in the same universe. :)

Seems like Witcher 3 is something I should get my hands on? Watch Dogs seems kinda cool too. I imagine I'll be pretty busy with Fallout for some time, though.

 

If you were a fan of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, 4 might disappoint you.

 

Witcher 3 is absolutely something you should get your hands on, it is one of the finest games of the past few years.

 

I mean, I adored Fallout 3, yeah, but that would've been what, like 8 years ago by now? I don't even remember what it was like to play it, nor how the gameplay of 4 is in relation. Never played New Vegas either.

 

Yeah, I'm really just excited to finally, finally play Stick of Truth. So overdue.

 

The Witcher 3 is great but overwhelming (in my opinion), I'm getting through it at a snail's pace haha.

I was v disappointed with Fallout 4. I guess it's not a bad game by any stretch, but I was blown away with 3/NV and 4 just kinda felt like more of the same. Idk, I was bummed that I wasn't getting as much fun out of it as I wanted, could have been my expectations though.

 

Fallout was a good time suck, but I haven't absolutely fallen in love with any of them. I still need to finish the DLC from 4, but I may not end up doing so... I'm kind of played out on it.
