I've had negative experiences w both.

 

I don't think it's mine internet because it's been super fine in other modes but rocket league rumble gives me so much lag even playing against computers and it sucks.

 

Yeah I know, I really messed up on that one. I was more of a casual gamer when Bioshock 1 and 2 came out, and never played them despite hearing amazing things. I absolutely fell in love with the art style and gameplay I saw of Infinite though, and was told that it worked okay as a standalone. By the time I figured I wanted to play the first two, the next gen was almost along and with it a bunch of remasters, so thought I'd be best waiting for those than playing originals that might not have aged wel. I didn't figure it would take so long to pump them out is all haha!

 

This does not amaze me having played both.

 

I am glad you are going to get into them finally. Honestly, the graphics on the originals are still really great despite being fairly old.

 

Just gonna quote this 'cause it mirrors my experience with the BI franchise. Been wanting these remasters so goddamn bad especially given that rumours of them started circulating like a year ago.

 

The intro to Bioshock has some great water effects and lighting effects as well. So good.

I wonder how far Hangar 13 Games are on the next Bioshock (if they are indeed the ones making the game). I remember 2 years ago, Strauss Zelnick said their Novato studio was working on the franchise and that turned out to be Hangar 13 Games.

Probably not far since they just finished Mafia 3, and who even knows if they are the ones doing it tbh.

There is a known issue with Rocket League since the last update and they should have it fixed shortly. I believe it's only on the ONE. It's best to not even play it right now.

 

I don't know why they just don't continue to carry the torch for a highly successful franchise. But at the same time, they might want to go out on a high note before they do something horribly wrong. (Ex: Respawn)

In between Deus Ex this weekend I was playing a ton of Diablo 3, and Overwatch. Blizzard are such great developers. It really says something how they have such a hardcore-dedicated PC fanbase, and yet do excellent console ports.

 

I'm playing 2K17 prelude just for achievements and I always remember how bad I am at basketball games.

 

I forgot 2K17 has a story and this is still so weird to think a sports game that isn't def jam having a story mode.

 

That story mode in 2k16 was so bad.

 

I guess the physical version of Bioshock collection ships on 2 discs. Is this the first current gen game spanning 2 blu-rays?

 

Wonder if Skyrim will as well?
