I need to finish Half Life 2....

 

For those of you playing No Man's Sky, a friend suggested I play it with the Interstellar soundtrack in the background...

I was on a roll, think I'm half way or more of the way through. But then I moved and never unpacked 360...

If Orange Box goes BC it'll be top of the list to finish.

Oh, speaking of games I've never played/finished...

That's the bright side! I have this amazing game that I can slowly pick away at. Once I finish it, HL3 will be out.

I've never played a Half Life game but I have watched speed runs so that should count for something.

 

Someone talk me into/out of getting a PS4. We have a wii we don't really use all that much but I kinda want to get back into casually playing a few games (e.g., No Man's Sky?) now that we have a really awesome TV

 

I played Half Life: Blue Shift and Half Life: Opposing Force before playing Half Life 1. Suffice it to say I was v confused

 

I'm guessing you miss out on the atmospheric quality of just looking around at your surroundings if you just watch a speedrun. HL2 is such a beautiful game, I forgot how old it was when I played it the first time a couple years ago.

 

HL2 still looks really good, those source games hold up well.

Persona 5, that is all.

 

Is it a 4K tv? If so, you should wait for the PS4.5 to come out this fall. Mainly since it supports 4K blu ray and 4K streaming. Also, the games will get a considerable performance boost by running and looking better.

 

You could wait until the more high end consoles come out and get an old model for a LOT less. Or wait for a sick BF deal. Could probably get one for close or under $200.

 

Yup, it's a 4K. That's a great suggestion... I wonder how much the 4.5 will go for. I can get a PS4 on eBay for $280ish right now, which is a draw for me.

 

$400 to $500 prob, but if you dont have a 4K blu ray player, it's a good deal since those standalone ones are $350+

 

if P4G is any indicator, P5 will be the opposite of a casual experience for me haha.

 

Im still holding out that PS3 get to that golden price range of $100 so I can finally play persona because I want to sooo bad.

 

You can play Persona 3 and 4 via emulator pretty easily on the PC

 

or get a used vita for pretty cheap, it's already proven to be a pretty niche system, should be easy enough to find someone trying to get rid of one haha

 

I don't have a PC so sadly that can't work.

also we were playing wwe 16 last night and holy shit that submission system is awful.
