With ya there, not sure I've enjoyed any Microsoft exclusive IPs outside of Forza for awhile; and with the move to having more Xbone titles on PC, not sure how relevant the consoles will even be to my interests anymore.

 

I don't think you're missing too much with Halo 5, though lol. I watched the campaign on youtube and I was like

the whole time.



I need to try SMITE again, but I remember playing the tutorial at a bad time and I was half paying attention lol. Would need to play that again for sure.

 

I found this out today as well. Also didn't realize that LoF was a PT spiritual successor

 

External power brick is annoying as heck, just not annoying enough for me to justify an upgrade atm. Clock speed increase is nice, but I love in the same point they address the fact the console games struggle to meet 30/60fps benchmarks. Scorpio will be a massive improvement in that realm.

 

Isn't Halo 5's multiplayer supposed to be a return to form though?

 

I'm not sure. I mean, I was a Halo fan from 2003-2010. As a Halo fan purist, aiming down sights and sprinting have no place in Halo for me

I don't know if multiplayer was ever a massive issue for Halo, I've moreso heard negativity or mixed opinions regarding the campaigns

 

I didn't enjoy 4's multiplayer, just didn't feel good at all.

Me and @CobraKidJon play SMITE together regularly.it takes time to get used to for sure.it is intimidating at first but it has almost 80 Gods now which is amazing. So many ways to play. also you can pay $30 to unlock all current and future ones.. bargain

 

Layers of Fear ain't got shit on PT tbh

 

That's the only halo multiplayer I've experienced. but I liked it a lot and played it for a while

 

MOBAs are generally a pain in the ass to learn and don't bother taking a break because then you'll have to play catch up on the new metas and champs (T_T, bye League bye)

Never played smite because the third-person perspective seems super intimidating, same problem that I believe Battleborn has when it comes to MOBAs, since knowing where enemies are/who they are/and where the abilities are coming from requires a clean perspective.

 

At least Battleborn will be free to play soon probably, given the abysmal sales it received.

Oh man, 2/3 are absolute classics, great map design and balance. The community experience was generally better too, met a lot of cool people playing those games.

 

smite is the best and I've sunk in at least over 3 days of playtime and have only spent about $20 in ultimate God pack and season ticket

I probably spent 250+ bucks on league skins in the 2-3 years I played it; couldn't resist. :(
